This Healing Light Meditation is great to do when you are in need of healing, whether it's an area of pain or discomfort, a place that's been injured, a struggling immune system, or any other area that's needing a little extra care and attention. Join me in this relaxing practice as we begin by connecting with the heart, picturing its warm healing light. We then follow that light as it moves fully through the body coming to rest on any part of the body that needs its extra love.

Welcome to this Healing Light Guided Meditation.

Come to a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

Whatever feels more comfortable,

And closing your eyes.

Take a nice big deep inhale into the body,

And now exhale,

Sighing it out,

Letting it go.

Take another nice big deep breath in,

And exhale,

Sighing it out,

And letting go.

And one last big deep breath into the body,

And exhale,

Releasing and letting go.

Take a moment to just allow yourself to tune in and to be here.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Calm and settle your mind,

And allow yourself to tune in and be fully present here in this moment.

Bring your attention to your heart.

If it feels good,

You may want to place your hand over your heart.

Feel the warmth of your heart,

The love,

The peace that is there.

Now imagine a light that is there in your heart.

A light full of peace and calm,

Relaxation and healing.

Just notice this light,

Perhaps how big it is,

What color,

What shape.

Feel its warmth and its feelings of peace and of love.

With each breath in,

Notice this light getting bigger,

Getting brighter.

With each breath out,

Letting go of anything you choose to release.

Now imagine this warm healing light as it moves up to the top of your head.

Feel the warmth of relaxation,

Starting from the top of your head and flowing downward.

Allowing the muscles in your head to relax.

Relaxing all the muscles in your face,

Around your eyes,

Around your mouth,

And around your jaw.

Allowing the light to just rest here for a moment as you welcome its peace and calm.

When you're ready,

Moving the calming light down to your throat and your neck and into your shoulders.

As these begin to relax as well,

Welcoming,

Welcoming the warmth and the peace and the contentment.

As the light continues,

Down your arms,

Into your hands,

And into each of your fingers.

Feel this warm light of calm as it moves into your chest and into your abdomen,

In your pelvis,

Your hips and thighs,

Down your legs,

And all the way down into your feet.

Let your body become completely loose and sink deeper into the surface beneath you.

Now become aware of any place in your body that may be needing some extra love.

Any place that may still be experiencing any tension or heaviness or discomfort.

If it's comfortable for you,

You can put your hand in that place.

Now imagine bringing the light to this area.

Welcome the light into this place and see the light as it comes to rest here.

This place that is wanting the peace,

The healing,

The love that the light has to offer.

Feel the ball of light here as it grows in size and in its intensity.

As it shares its warmth,

Its love,

And its healing.

With each breath in,

The light continues to grow brighter and more radiant.

Feel the warmth of this light as it continues to settle into this area.

This radiant light is emitting a calming,

Healing energy.

It slowly,

Gently,

Pours warmth and healing and peace into each cell.

Feel a gentle wave of relaxation as the light enters each and every cell.

The light continues to bring warmth and relaxation and calm and ease to every cell.

As you picture the light entering each cell,

Express your gratitude for the job that that cell has been doing.

Just focusing on the miracle of your body and the gratitude for the wonderful job that it's doing.

Again,

Breathing in,

The light gets brighter.

Breathing out,

Just letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

Notice how each cell begins to transform,

Becoming brighter.

Embodying the love and comfort,

The peace and calm that the light brings.

Continue to feel the warmth as the light expands and grows until it covers your entire body.

Until each and every cell feels the warmth of its glow.

Feeling the peace and calm throughout your body.

Feel your body floating in the warmth of this ball of healing light.

Each cell,

Each organ,

Each muscle being transformed as the gentle waves of warm light wash over them.

Feeling the warmth as it radiates throughout your body.

Filling you with even more light and calm and love and healing.

Stay here in this place for a few more minutes as you let your heart feel into the experience.

Full of awe and joy and gratitude.

Take a few more deep breaths here as you take a few more minutes with the warmth,

The contentment and the deep restful calm.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Begin to become more aware of your breath.

Breathing deeply,

Slowly and comfortably.

Become aware of the feel of each breath as the cool air comes in with each inhale and the warm air leaves with each exhale.

Notice the rise and fall of your belly as you allow yourself to come back into the room.

And whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
