For those times when you're starting to feel stress rising. For best results, listen daily first thing in the morning (or other times when you are very calm) over the course of about a week. This way your brain begins to associate meditation with calm. Then when you listen to it in a stressful situation, your brain will begin to calm down as soon as you hear even just the first few notes of the music. Especially for those using neuroplasticity in their neural retraining practice.

Welcome to the I am safe meditation.

Taking a deep breath in,

Say I am safe.

As I speak,

Continue to take slow,

Deep breaths,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.

As you breathe in,

Repeat I am safe.

As you breathe out,

Let go of anything that no longer serves you.

Breathing in,

I am safe.

Breathing out,

I let go of fear.

Breathing in,

I am strong.

Breathing out,

I let go of worry.

Breathing in,

I am healthy.

Breathing out,

I let go of doubt.

In the past,

My brain has overreacted to sights,

Sounds,

And smells.

But now I am healing and my body is strong and able to handle the world that I come in contact with.

I can move through the world and enjoy all that is around me.

The sights,

The sounds,

The smells,

And the people.

Because I am safe.

Breathing in,

I am safe.

Breathing out,

I let go of fear.

Breathing in,

I am strong.

Breathing out,

I let go of worry.

Breathing in,

I am healthy.

Breathing out,

I let go of doubt.

In the past,

My limbic system has worked overtime to protect me.

But now my limbic system can let go and relax.

Because I am no longer in any danger.

I am safe.

My brain is calm and peaceful.

I can join in social events and know that I am safe.

I can hug.

I can laugh.

I can eat.

I can dance.

All without fear.

Because my body is strong and healthy.

Breathing in,

I am safe.

Breathing out,

I let go of fear.

Breathing in,

I am strong.

Breathing out,

I let go of worry.

Breathing in,

I am healthy.

Breathing out,

I let go of doubt.

I am safe.
