Welcome to the I am safe meditation.
Taking a deep breath in,
Say I am safe.
As I speak,
Continue to take slow,
Deep breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
As you breathe in,
Repeat I am safe.
As you breathe out,
Let go of anything that no longer serves you.
Breathing in,
I am safe.
Breathing out,
I let go of fear.
Breathing in,
I am strong.
Breathing out,
I let go of worry.
Breathing in,
I am healthy.
Breathing out,
I let go of doubt.
In the past,
My brain has overreacted to sights,
Sounds,
And smells.
But now I am healing and my body is strong and able to handle the world that I come in contact with.
I can move through the world and enjoy all that is around me.
The sights,
The sounds,
The smells,
And the people.
Because I am safe.
Breathing in,
I am safe.
Breathing out,
I let go of fear.
Breathing in,
I am strong.
Breathing out,
I let go of worry.
Breathing in,
I am healthy.
Breathing out,
I let go of doubt.
In the past,
My limbic system has worked overtime to protect me.
But now my limbic system can let go and relax.
Because I am no longer in any danger.
I am safe.
My brain is calm and peaceful.
I can join in social events and know that I am safe.
I can hug.
I can laugh.
I can eat.
I can dance.
All without fear.
Because my body is strong and healthy.
Breathing in,
I am safe.
Breathing out,
I let go of fear.
Breathing in,
I am strong.
Breathing out,
I let go of worry.
Breathing in,
I am healthy.
