Allow yourself to find a comfortable way of sitting.
As you settle in,
Just allow yourself to take a little deeper breath and allow your eyes to gently close.
As you're breathing in this time,
Take a full breath,
Expanding your belly,
Chest,
And all the way up to the collarbone,
Holding your breath for one second or so,
And breathing out,
Relaxing from top,
Middle,
To bottom,
Bringing your attention inside,
Into your body,
Just noticing what it feels like to be inside your body in a relaxed way.
And as you do that and you feel alive,
Just imagine that you are a cat,
And like a cat,
That your awareness is fully present in that relaxed,
Easy way.
And now bring that awareness,
Imagining,
Feeling,
Sensing in that awake way to your thoughts.
So like a cat waiting or looking at a mouse hole,
Just be completely interested in the next thought that arises.
Just waiting,
Relaxed awareness and concentration.
Perhaps a thought won't come for a while.
Whatever comes,
Just let it go by,
Waiting,
Interested,
Noticing,
Moment to moment.
