Hey there,
My name is Lisa,
And this is a meditation to manifest healthy boundaries around the storms that have nothing to do with you.
What does that mean?
Other storms,
Outside noise,
Any chaos around you,
Especially if you're feeling like no matter how hard you try to aim for peace,
Joy,
The moment you let yourself go it's like bam something comes up.
Life is so unexpected and can be so chaotic and I identify with you and I'm here with you if you feel like,
Man,
I just need a moment to breathe.
But for today's practice,
We are going to learn on how to stay in the eye of the storms and stand grounded in our own peace,
In our own sacred space,
In our own journey,
Staying clear with what matters and releasing the rest.
So with that,
Feel free to come into your comfortable seated position,
Whatever that is for you today,
And give yourself permission to just be here,
Let go of the rest.
And I invite you to take a nice big deep inhale into your body and through the nose,
Breathing in.
Exhale,
Sigh out through the mouth,
Maybe even say,
Ah.
Let's do that two more times.
Inhaling through the nose,
Breathing in.
Exhale sighing out through the mouth saying,
Ah.
Nice big deep breath in.
Exhale sighing out through the mouth,
Ah.
Feel free to let go of any holding in the body,
Any holding in shoulders and face.
The chest and belly expand and soften like a gentle ocean tide,
Releasing any holding from the hips down to the knees,
Knees down to the toes.
Let go.
And now the mind may be holding on,
Or even swept up in the storm of thoughts of past,
Thoughts of future,
Feelings.
And can you imagine that your mind is like a hand,
And can you release one finger on a thought,
Then the next,
Then the next.
Releasing your palm completely,
Letting go.
These thoughts,
These feelings,
These storms,
A lot of them are not you,
Not the core of who you are,
Not a part of your true journey,
Your true,
Authentic self,
It's not you.
Visualize yourself saying goodbye to every thought as it passes by.
Breathing in,
Exhale letting it go.
Releasing any judgment,
Any criticism,
Saying thank you and goodbye.
Breathing in,
Exhale letting it go.
And anything else weighing on you,
Memories,
Thoughts,
A feeling of maybe not being enough,
Of life not being enough,
Breathing in,
Thanking the thoughts and feelings and saying goodbye.
Closing the door to all that is not yours,
All that really doesn't serve your peace or happiness at this moment.
Breathing in,
And exhale out.
Bring a white light around you,
As the white light comes like a bubble around you,
I want you to go ahead and visualize yourself,
Your day,
Your hopes,
Your dreams,
Your aspirations,
But you,
The core of who you are,
At your most happy,
Your most blissful,
Your most grounded in your true,
Authentic joy and self.
Know that this is your truth,
That this is the eye of the storm and you are worthy of fighting for this happiness,
This joy.
You are worthy of welcoming it in and allowing for it to wash over you.
To be embedded into your bone,
Into your spirit,
Skin,
And soul.
That you are worthy of being grounded in happiness regardless of any noise,
Regardless of anything or anyone not reflecting that.
For that is not a reflection of you,
This vision of your happiness is a true reflection of who you are,
And to focus so much on the storms is to forget and disconnect from that.
So I invite you to reconnect with this truth,
Trusting it,
Leaning into it,
Doing whatever it is you need to do to protect your peace,
Your happiness,
Letting the rest go,
And feel free to set an intention for yourself to ground you into this safe,
Sacred space within you,
Keeping that intention with you,
And feeling free to stay here for as long as you wish,
Or to close the meditation with gentle movement or in any way that calls to you.
Know that as you mindfully protect this sacred happiness that is authentically yours,
And stay grounded in it,
Only reflecting this truth,
It and this energy in turn will protect you.
And so it is,
And so it shall be,
My friend.
