I'm glad you're here.
I hope you're walking along,
You've started,
You've started this meditation.
So this is going to be a bit different.
It's very much a guided meditation just to really just clear any anxiety or annoyance or maybe you've had a fight with a partner or you're feeling a bit average about work.
So what we'll do is as you walk along or you can do this if you're sitting at home as well,
But as you walk along and take each step,
I just want you to imagine what we're going to walk through.
So let's feel comfortable in our body.
So I want you to shake your hands,
Really shake them out,
You know,
All through the fingertips.
And then once you've done that,
I want you to start to wiggle your toes or do them both together.
Just really feel yourself coming into your body.
Just feel yourself centered and,
And here on this earth as you walk along and wiggle your toes and just do that for a little bit and maybe smile while you're doing it as well.
Maybe you feel a bit silly doing it out in the open,
Walking along with other people or maybe you're made for this.
Now I want you to feel your feet,
The bottom of your feet where they touch your shoes or where they're touching the ground and your shoes where they're touching the earth.
You know,
Really feel yourself connected with the earth beyond and imagine some roots coming out your feet,
Some big gnarly tree roots,
Knobbly coming out of your feet and going through to that deep dark soil beneath and just feel yourself connected to the earth beyond.
Feel how it supports you and I want you to imagine the earth just taking in any of your anxieties and worries.
So going through those roots.
So just feeling it pulled down your ankles and pulled down your body.
Any worries or annoyances,
Fear,
Whatever it is,
Imagine it being pulled down into the earth through these roots.
Let it flow and let the earth transmute it into something beautiful,
That beautiful deep dark soil flowing down your legs all the way from the tips of your fingers,
The top of your head.
Any annoyance,
Any frustration,
Any fear,
Let it go down into the earth.
Now I'm going to go quiet for a moment while you imagine that and just let all of that,
That feeling that you want to let go of,
Let it go down into the earth and let the earth transmute it into something beautiful.
Okay,
How'd you go?
Do you feel lighter?
It's okay if you don't,
Just feel what you feel and who you are right now,
That's all you can be,
Who you are in this moment.
You can't be anything else and actually who you are in this moment is pretty great.
So I want you now to take a big deep breath into your lungs and anything that's still tight in your body,
Let that air that's coming into your lungs into your body,
Just sort of release it and release that tension a little bit,
Whatever it is that you're feeling that you just want to let go of.
So as each breath comes in your body,
Taking a nice big breath as you walk along,
I want you to just feel it go into those pockets into your body,
Whether it's your fingers,
Your arms,
Your shoulders,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Whatever it is,
You know,
Maybe it's your lower back,
You've been sitting too much or your neck or the top of your head.
So all the way through and just let that air just release,
Just feel your shoulders relax and your whole body just loosen further.
And just two more breaths,
Just one more,
In out and then just another big deep breath and then just let it go.
And now let's loosen some more of that feeling that you're feeling and I want you to take some stomping steps,
Nothing light,
But again,
Don't hurt yourself.
Really pound the ground,
Pound out that frustration,
That anger,
That fear,
Whatever it is,
Kick it out of your body,
Let it vibrate through the earth,
Through your shoes and into that beautiful dark earth below.
Stomp,
Stomp,
Stomp,
Stomp.
So really take some heavy stomping,
Just really feel it,
Let it out,
Whatever it is.
I'm going to go quiet again,
Have a little fun as you do this and just keep stomping along and just feel the earth vibrate underneath you with all of that stomping.
Okay,
How are you feeling now?
Lighter I hope.
We're not finished yet.
Those roots that are coming from your feet,
I want you now to imagine a dark forest green light or any light colour that you want to imagine,
Whatever feels right for you.
But I want you to imagine that light coming up from the earth beneath and I want you to imagine it coming up through those roots and then through your feet and all the way up your body,
Through your ankles and feel each cell come alive with this beautiful light.
It's a light filled with joy and love and supercalifragilistic.
No,
Really,
Let it fill you with the impossible and the improbable,
That Mary Poppins moment.
Okay,
So anything wonderful can happen on this walk and well and just imagine that as you feel the light move up your legs,
Up your knees,
Easing any pain and tension.
Now as it moves up to your thigh and your bum,
So you're breathing in and out but you're feeling that light move up and now to your stomach and just feel your body really relax into this light.
Up your back to the lower and the mid part of your back,
Just feel any twinges,
Just go away with that beautiful light.
Now up to your shoulder blades and your shoulders and then down your chest,
Touching all your organs and your cells.
Breathing in,
You can feel this light being pulled up the back of your neck and across the top of your head and down to your eyes,
Cheeks,
Nose,
Your mouth,
Your jaw,
All over your face and now down touching the front of your neck and again your shoulders.
This light,
This beautiful vibrant light down your arms,
The top of your arms and now your elbows and forearms and hands and fingers and the light just beams out of your fingers and you feel alive,
This gorgeous green light.
Feel it flow through your skin and feel it come through every pore and cell in your body,
Just bringing you alive and just feel this light just now coming out your skin and now you're glowing as you walk along and this light's now giving back to the world and it's just supporting you and supporting every step you take and just really energising you and bringing you alive.
So I'm going to go quiet again and just take a moment as you just feel this light fill you up.
Okay we're nearly at the end of this walking meditation and I want you just to think about that light and think about it and bring it back into your day or your night or to the rest of your walk and just this beautiful light that supports you and just let it stay with you throughout the day and really show you that anything is possible.

So when you think of that just think of that beautiful green light that or whatever colour it is that you imagine and how it's filled you up and supported you and really given you this new lease on your day or evening and just filled you with lovely joy.
