Clearing Your Chakras

This is a meditation to clear your chakras. Come back to this meditation as often as you like. This meditation has no background music. Here are the colours for the chakra meditation, although I reference these in the meditation: Crown Chakra - Violet; Third Eye - Indigo; Throat chakra - Lapis Blue; Heart - Teal or Pink; Solar Plexus - Yellow; Sacral (Belly) - Orange; Root Chakra - deep earthy red.

Hi, Welcome to this meditation on clearing chakras. So I want to start by getting you to find a comfortable position. I like to do this meditation lying down, It just feels really comfortable. However, Whatever feels right for you, So whether it's sitting, Sitting in a chair or lying down or even standing up, It's just whatever your preference is and how you'll feel comfortable. So once you've found a comfortable position, Just sort of move around, Wiggle, Just sort of get your body just feeling relaxed and in a perfect position to sit through this guided meditation. Now once you're comfortable, Let's take in a deep, Deep breath and now do breathing in your own time. So I'll direct you, But just breathe in at the speed that's right for you. So taking a big, Deep breath and I really want you to take a breath that feels your lungs and if you can push that air down to your belly and just feel your belly push out. So big breath in, Filling up your lungs down to your belly and then pushing the air out and then just one more breath, Breathing in, Filling the lungs, Pushing the air down to the belly and holding and breathing out and then one more and this one I want you to breathe in and on the exhale, I want you to really push all the air out so it feels like you've got no breath left. So breathing in a big deep breath, Breathing into the lungs and the belly and feeling the belly extend and then breathing out and pushing all that air out and just keep pushing. Okay, Just coming back to your breath and to your body and just breathing in and out through your nose or mouth whichever feels right for you and taking your attention to the top of your head and I want you to imagine a beautiful warm white light or whatever colour is right for you coming from the sky, Hitting the top of your head and moving all the way down through your body, Down through your throat, Your spine, Down through your bum and legs, Knees and ankles and feet and just that light going out through to the earth and just really feeling your body start to relax as that light makes its way down through your body, Just a cycle of light just constantly coming from the sky above all the way down through your feet and then coming back. Now bring your attention back to the top of your head and I want you to imagine your crown chakra that just sits just above the top of your head and it's a beautiful violet and I want you to imagine the light going through that and hitting it and just if it's a bit murky it's just clearing it out and really exploding through it, That beautiful light just really clearing it and just making it feel nice and light and then moving through to your crown chakra and that's a beautiful indigo and just imagine the light hitting that, Clearing it, If it's murky the light just clears that out and that light exploding through and then as you move down to your throat chakra which is a beautiful beautiful lapis blue colour just the light hitting it, Exploding out, Just making it feel beautiful and just reset to where it should be and then as you move down to your heart chakra which is a beautiful teal or pink just letting that light move through that allowing you to open and imagine also that chakra is a flower blooming so it's a beautiful beautiful chakra that blooms as that light hits it and it just allows you to let anything go that you don't need to hold on to anymore and just feel that feel that vibration as it explodes like a million stars and it's exploding out that light's really lifting that chakra up opening you up that flower is blooming and your heart just starts to feel lighter as as you slowly just let things go that don't serve you anymore and then moving down to your beautiful solar plexus that gorgeous bright golden yellow and just letting the light hit that and make it shine and any sense of fear or trepidation just starts to ease a little bit any anxiety just eases slightly as the light hits it and explodes through and just makes it shine beautifully and then moving down to your belly and you've got that beautiful orange chakra so here the light hits it just clears any murkiness allows you just to feel settled and calm and that light just explodes through it and then moving down to your root chakra which is at the base of your spine it is a beautiful red deep deep red an earthy red and the light hits it and it really just clears anything out you feel of this earth you feel rooted you feel settled and peaceful and calm and in your body but your body isn't heavy it's light so the light's coming through from the sky above hitting all the way through from your crown chakra to your root chakra and it's just exploding through all of those and just clearing them and i'll just give you a moment to let that light just work through and just imagine whatever light and however that feels right for you as that light comes through and clears all of those beautiful chakras okay just coming back to that gorgeous light and those chakras i want you to also now imagine that light expanding from those chakras and really expanding out of your body so you're you're glowing so every cell so that light hits every cell it makes it feel light makes them feel alive feel rested healed happy each cell each muscle all the skin in your body everything is touched by this light so it's coming through the chakras and cycling through the chakras and out and extending out so you're glowing every part of you is glowing and that light is just lifting you up and you feel happy light rested or whatever you need to feel and that light now turns to a beautiful golden light it's a warm golden light and you're metallic and you could almost just stand up and be this person who glows in the world and i want you to feel that that that person who glows in the world your chakras are all aligned and you're in a place that just feels right for you now coming back to your chakras so we'll come back to the crown that beautiful violet chakra we're just going to put a beautiful protective layer around it so i like to imagine a beautiful cellophane just going around at something clear that just allows me to see the beauty of the chakra but just allow it to be protected but still work perfectly for me so cover it in that beautiful clear layer so your chakra is protected but still works perfectly and then if you move down to your third eye and just imagine something covering it beautiful clear covering that allows you to see but still the chakra is working perfectly and then moving down to the lapis color that beautiful blue of your throat chakra just take a moment to imagine it being wrapped in in that beautiful clear layer that allows it still to work perfectly but also be protected from the world and then down to your your heart chakra that teal or pink and then something's just layering over it that beautiful clear layer just to protect it just to keep it safe from the world but still work perfectly for you and then down to the solar plexus and again that clear layer covering the solar plexus just so it's nice it's clear you can see how beautiful in yellow that golden yellow and then down to the belly and that beautiful sacral chakra the orange and you can see it's covered with this clear layer just to protect it and then the root chakra it stays open it's what keeps you grounded in the world so it stays uncovered but it just protects you because of the type of chakra it is and i want you to imagine now that light going back to the universe back to the sky back to the earth and just take a moment and say thank you for for that beautiful light that that's just made you feel rested and rejuvenated now coming back to your body so just feeling how heavy your body is and feeling your body wherever it sits or is touching the ground or the bed or wherever you are just start to feel your body now as it touches that that layer and and feel yourself heavy and your feet and your hands and give both your hands and your feet a bit of a wiggle just to bring yourself back into the room back into your body and just feel settled and calm so you bring that that restfulness that that healing that love back with you that bloom in your heart back with you just have a moment just to come back in and when you're ready take a big big deep breath you might want to yawn you might want to stretch whatever it is and you
