Relax and breathe deep. Set an intention for enjoying your life. Change your perspective with a simple 10-minute daily practice. When you breathe deeply into your lower belly, you connect to the vagus nerve. Stimulating this nerve activates your relaxation response and acts like a brake on the stress response. The more you repeat this practice, the faster the changes occur.

This is the perfect option to become so relaxed and pleasantly surprised at how well you can achieve the experience of nothingness.

You will also begin to notice how great it feels as well.

Find a comfortable space to sit in.

Clear your mind of all the days ins and outs.

Create this time for you,

Knowing that you deserve to take the time to relax and fully inundate your mind with nothing for the next few minutes.

Let's start by practicing how to breathe so that your whole body is in sync with full body relaxation.

Counting helps to keep your breathing slow and uniform.

This will also help your brain to have a chemical release of melatonin to put your body into the relaxed mode.

Take a few deep breaths by first inhaling on a count of six.

Then hold for a count of three.

Exhale for a count of six.

And hold for three.

Repeat this several times until you are feeling even more relaxed.

We will repeat the breathing exercise throughout the segment.

Keep the same count as you breathe.

And as you take in another breath and slowly release,

Begin to settle in and relax.

Life has so many ups and downs.

Sometimes you feel caught up in the hustle and bustle.

Meditation every day is so important to your mental,

Physical,

And emotional health.

Practicing good meditation skills is the path to great learning,

Thinking,

Understanding,

And stamina.

You no longer feel like a cog in a huge machine or keeping yourself on autopilot without an off switch.

In this exercise,

You'll be doing meditation that will help you get back to being you on a daily basis.

Take another breath.

Exhale slowly.

Great.

Even though you are watching this wonderful visual,

You are aware that you are taking a break from the hurried and stressed world out there.

Yes,

It's time to grab some me time and enjoy the ride.

Take another breath and exhale slowly.

Awesome.

Think of an intention,

A positive intention that serves you well.

Remember that intention and repeat it to yourself with every breath as I talk to you.

My intention is to better myself each and every day,

To enjoy life more and spread love and cheer.

You don't need to have the same intention as I do.

Just be sure to keep it positive and repeat it to yourself often.

Take another breath and exhale slowly.

There you go.

You got this.

Learning is a big step to enjoying life.

Today's world is an information overload,

And it is time to break from that highway and drive on a slower road to enjoying life.

As a kid,

It seemed that if I had a smile,

Everyone would smile at me.

If I had a full belly laugh from a joke,

I got others to laugh as loudly.

Remember how you used to laugh like that.

A smile and a laugh are infectious.

Think of something that makes you smile or makes you laugh now.

Take another breath.

Exhale very slowly.

Repeat the positive intention to yourself once again.

As you look around in whatever scenery that is presently surrounding you,

Think of what you'd do if you were there right now.

How would you enjoy yourself?

Wouldn't you just forget about your work and responsibilities for the time you were there?

Wouldn't you think about the positive and enjoyable things that you and possibly your closest friends or loved ones would have?

Wouldn't you be looking forward to how great you are going to feel when you start to experience all of what you want to experience?

Why not step into that feeling right now?

That's right,

Feel how good it really feels.

Take another deep breath and exhale slowly.

That's right,

And repeat your positive intention.

Now that you feel this way,

Think of how you can feel this way more often,

Long after you finish this program.

How can you feel this way when you go to school or go to work?

How can you feel this way when you are by yourself or with others?

How can you feel this way when difficulties start?

Make it your intention to feel this way as much as you can.

Take another deep breath and exhale slowly.

Repeat this new positive intention to yourself several times.

This intention is about feeling this good as much as you can.

Notice how your thoughts of the past may have transformed.

Now notice how your thoughts of your future and your possibilities may have changed.

Just ask your unconscious mind to lock in all of the changes.

Just lock them in.

Congratulations on taking this journey.

Feel free to do this exercise as often as you think you need it.

I'm going to count you up now.

Three,

Two,

And one.

Have a wonderful day.
