This meditation is for all of the moms,
The parents,
The caregivers,
The people who give themselves so freely and often without even a thank-you.
They give and they give,
Rarely asking for anything in return.
So today this is for you to feel appreciated because you are and all you do matters.
So take a moment to get comfortable.
You can sit or lay down but getting comfortable is really important because this is time just for you.
Gently close your eyes and take a nice long slow deep breath in,
Welcoming peace into your body and then exhale really slow letting go of any distractions or burdens.
This is your time.
As you settle into this moment just focus on your breath.
Breathing in nice and slow and releasing it ever so gently.
We move so fast doing all the things all the time but right now it is just a rare moment to slow down and as you breathe in imagine a soft warm light enveloping you like a hug.
This light symbolizes the love and appreciation for every role you play as a mother,
As a parent.
Feel its comforting presence acknowledging all that you do,
Seen and unseen.
Feel that warmth.
Inhale deeply bringing in recognition and gratitude.
Exhale any feelings of being overlooked or undervalued.
With each breath allow yourself to feel more seen and understood.
Continuing to breathe in and out,
Really slowing down the day and connecting with your heartbeat.
Visualize this light shining on the everyday tasks you perform.
The ones that often go unnoticed.
All the meals prepared,
The tears wiped away,
The nighttime comforts,
The picking up the house,
Putting things away,
Listening to stories.
See each act illuminated,
Each effort appreciated and as the light hits all of these things that you do know that you are seen.
All these little things that you do,
All of them are important.
Think about the times when you felt invisible.
Invisible in your endless work,
Your care and your sacrifices.
Now imagine that light whispering to you,
You are a miracle.
You matter even when there is no thank you.
Let these words resonate deeply,
Filling you with warmth and self-worth.
Allow yourself to absorb the truth that your actions are the backbone of daily life.
The quiet humming that keeps everything moving.
That is you.
Breathe in deeply embracing this truth and exhale any doubts about your importance.
With every breath feel more empowered and valued.
You are the unseen foundation,
The silent hero in every moment.
Your love,
Strength and dedication weave the fabric of your family's lives,
Creating a tapestry of warmth and security.
Being a parent is hard and you show up for it every day.
Feel seen.
Feel that light warm you,
Holding you in its gentle embrace.
You are seen.
You are valued.
You are essential.
Allow those affirmations to fill you,
Lifting you with each inhale.
Now silently repeat to yourself,
I am seen.
I am valued.
All I do matters.
I am loved.
Remember that even on the hardest days you are loved.
Your family loves you.
Your children need you and all the things you do seen and unseen matter.
Feel that in your heart now.
Know that you are not alone,
That your feelings are shared by many other mothers and parents in this world.
All the things you do are important.
And on this day,
Let the light warm you and fill you up with comfort and with knowing that you are appreciated.
Even if you don't hear it every day,
You see it in the eyes of your children when they smile and the hugs they give you,
When they need an embrace after crying,
When they ask for help.
Feel it when you see your children reading or doing their homework,
Playing,
Laughing.
Each and every part of their lives is shaped because of all you do.
Feel your worth and remember it's okay to take time for yourself,
To fill yourself up,
To be reminded that all you do matters.
Take a nice long slow inhale in now feeling that love in your heart,
Not only for your family but for yourself.
You are seen,
You are valued,
You are essential,
You are loved.
And when you feel ready gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes and slowly open your eyes,
Carrying with you the deep appreciation and recognition of your invaluable presence in this world.
