Lindsey is a mindfulness teacher and she works in person and online with all ages, particularly women. Currently, she is designing a Mindfulness for Pregnancy course with Creative Mindfulness. The style of meditation she leads is based on the work of her teacher Louise Shanagher and is about shining the flashlight of awareness within and doing so with an attitude of kindness and non-judgement, meeting what is in ones field of awareness and holding it with kindness, love and compassion and then resourcing oneself, listening to ones own inner wisdom and what it is that one needs. This journey within is done in a trauma-informed way and is held and supported by grounding and safety practices at the beginning of the meditations. Her own area of special interest is in creating a warm comfortable space for pregnant women to connect with their bodies and their babies, to trust in themselves and their capacity to give birth and to feel supported and held in their birthing choices. Her wish is that these meditations here are of benefit to all women and their babies.
