Welcome to this guided sleep meditation called the magic seeds from Nana.
Let's begin in your bedroom.
Please prepare your pillow,
Squeeze and make it fluffy and dreamy of course.
Settle into bed now.
Closing one eye for the magic seeds.
Closing the next eye for Nana.
Let the eyes inside go round and round,
Round.
And also stretch all your toes.
That's 10 toes stretching.
Concentrate,
Stretch your toes and eyes round.
Then stop,
Relax.
Relax all of you,
Getting comfortable if you please.
Now Sarah and Tim are sisters and brothers and think the world of their Nana.
She is the nicest Nana in this world.
So clever.
She has many many hobbies.
For she is always doing interesting things whenever Sarah and Tim visit.
Now one day she gave a pack of seeds from her magazine to Sarah and Tim.
Such a little packet they both did thought.
And it felt like the packet was empty too.
Because the packet was simply terribly thin and small.
The seeds inside being flower seeds.
Nana said,
Well that's the magic of seeds and the magic of nature.
Both did thought magic,
Magic.
Nana always told the truth and they always learnt many things from her.
You will need a pot and soil.
You must read the instructions on the packet.
So the very next day Sarah and Tim after tea went in the back garden to find a pot for their magic seeds.
With a little help they read the packet of seed instructions.
Though they did hurry this part which led to a delay in the seeds being truly magical.
Tim found a big pot.
Then Sarah opened the packet and poured its content into Tim's hand.
Where were the seeds so tiny,
Super tiny indeed.
They stared at only two seeds.
Nevertheless they put the seeds into a big pot.
They smiled at each other looking forward to seeing them grow.
Then a voice in Sarah's head said,
This pot is too big for me.
Why did she think this?
Tim stared at the big pot.
Then he heard a little voice say,
This pot is too big for me.
I would be best to start small.
Anyway the next day when they both ran outside after tea to look at their big pot.
They let out a sigh and said at the same time,
The pot is too big.
So the magic flower seeds finally got a smaller pot.
This time it felt right.
Then a voice popped in both their heads within seconds of each other.
I shall need to be watered daily.
Both the children smiled and ran to see who would get the watering can first.
Tim was first to water them.
Then the next day both did see the cutest little green leaves.
No bigger than a little finger.
But once again a voice popped in their heads.
Plus talking to me does help us grow.
Though their first talking to the seeds were really a good ode,
Moan and complaints really.
Which caused all the super tiny leaves to sag and go floppy.
Tim said,
I shall tell some jokes to cheer them up and so he did.
Sarah said,
Because their horns don't work.
Well the next day so tall were the leaves.
The magic seeds taught again.
We are ready for a bigger pot please.
No sooner had they heard this,
Both very carefully did just that.
So as time and days went by,
Both did learn a lot about the magic flower seeds.
Things like about the right pot and to water regular.
And talk and tell jokes helps them grow indeed.
Now there really is a magic to these flower seeds.
For they are destined to be sunflowers.
Of which this particular flower is really a giant flower.
Lovely big flower head,
Lots of big yellow petals.
A good sunflower that is loved can possibly grow 2 or 3 metres in height.
Even more magical was,
Whilst the two young sunflowers kept growing up,
They noticed the flower head followed the sun in the sky.
Then came the big magic.
For Sarah and Tim really did get another surprise.
When both their sunflowers did their big magic trick and just kept on growing and growing.
They found they couldn't water them the same way.
For they both needed a ladder to drench all the leaves and petals during those hot summer days.
Then the best day did came,
Which called for a photo.
Each stood under their sunflower.
Yes under,
And smiled saying the word magic.
Once both photos were taken,
They couldn't wait to see Nana.
Of which she did smile and laugh with sheer delight.
And put the two photos in a double frame.
As a special treat,
They had afternoon tea with yellow balloons.
Nana looked deep into their eyes,
Saying how proud she was of them both.
Then asking Sarah,
What did you like and learn from the magic seeds?
Plus Tim gave his answer too.
But I would like you to answer this yourself.
Nana of course took her turn with some magical facts about sunflowers.
For each fully grown sunflower is actually thousands of small flowers together.
A fully grown sunflower can contain as many as two thousand seeds.
So this magic never ends.
And the tallest sunflower in this world ever recorded was nine metres in height.
And now as you continue this dream in your head and your heart,
Have a wonderful sunflower yellow dream.
And join in and enjoy the afternoon tea party with yellow balloons too.
Name flower power,
Big and bright like the sun.
And go run,
Go dance under thousands of sunflowers.
Maybe you will plant one full of real magic.
