Welcome to this guided sleep meditation,
Called No Time for Pets,
But there's always a way.
Let's begin in your bedroom.
Jump on your bed,
Prepare your pillow please.
Squeeze your pillow tight,
Pillows love a good squeeze for great dreams of course.
Settle into bed now,
Get comfortable.
Closing one eye to sleep,
Closing the next eye to dream.
Let the eyes inside go up and down,
Up and down.
The story of No Time for Pets,
But there's always a way.
Relax your eyes,
Thank you.
In the home of Hannah is a very busy home and no time for pets here.
Hannah still wanted a pet,
Any would do really.
So many reasons were given.
Like who's going to do the looking after during holidays?
Who's going to make time to walk and clean and care?
Hannah still wanted a pet,
Any would do really.
Like a problem that needed solving.
Well that day finally arrived,
Out of the blue just like that.
In the back garden on a warm sunny day,
Garden chores were being done by both her parents.
A very nice private garden,
Different trees and lots of summer daisies.
Whilst Hannah played with her toys,
A whopping big black cat came almost trotting,
Running straight towards Hannah.
Her face was puzzled and looked all around her.
Was it really running up to me,
She thought,
As if the big black cat actually knew her?
In seconds the cat was at Hannah's feet,
Rubbing his soft black fur upon her legs.
Her parents,
Looking from the corner of their eyes,
Were aware that cats do have,
In fact,
Two homes.
It's just in their nature,
For they love to roam free.
So no pet walking to do here.
Her first stroke of this cat was the sweetest feeling ever.
Hannah loved his soft fairy face and purred proudly to the point her heart did sing.
Now as you listen to this true story,
These two have been friends for many years now.
Hannah learnt love and kindness can work wonders,
Can make anything possible.
The black cat being all about love and kindness,
And really befriended Hannah.
It was all about Hannah and her new unusual pet,
The black cat.
Where he came from,
She didn't really know.
Perhaps he's a new cat whose family have moved into the area.
Although she could not give him a home,
He didn't need her home,
Or feed him properly like a pet.
But because he was so full of love and kindness for Hannah,
She found ways to say how she felt.
When the weather got cooler,
She got a cardboard box and an old blanket that could be left outside in the shed.
Hence,
The black cat had a second home.
And her meal times,
Well,
She seemed to have a little left over on her plate as usual.
This little bit would make a great snack for the cat.
The first time the black cat and patient was eaten,
For cats to seem to be good at waiting.
The first time he sat on her knee,
She held her breath.
This would be as good as a cuddle from a real live pet.
That first time he did it,
She held a breath,
Thinking about his claws.
But after a few seconds,
The cat did settle.
His tail swished under her nose,
Trying to gain balance.
Then all was well.
He had a little sleep on her knee,
Like a big furry hub,
As he closed his eyes and trusted Hannah completely.
She closed her eyes too,
Thinking he must be dreaming a little.
Although she couldn't work out why he came to her,
Her heart just said,
Well,
You've been wishing,
Haven't you?
Happy memories started to build.
Many things were walking about in the garden,
And the cat seemed to walk close to her by her side.
She watched him stretch,
For cats love to stretch every day,
And she copied him to stretching her legs,
Stretching her arms.
Well,
I think you get the picture.
And when she went on holiday,
She knew he had a real home nearby.
So wishing and hoping for a pet,
And any would do,
Really does work.
Hannah remains friends with the black cat,
Who pops in her garden every now and again.
So I guess it's okay to keep wishing for things in life.
For the great universe is in a way listening to your happy thoughts.
And both Hannah and the black cat are very happy in each other's company.
Could it be after wanting,
She then decided to let go,
And then just maybe,
She was ready to receive her wish granted.
So please keep wishing yourself.
Let the great universe hear your sweet wishes,
For something similar just about will come your way.
So why not dream of some wishes now?
Keep sending those happy thoughts in your life,
Listening to your heart,
For it wants you to always find happiness.
Anything is possible,
So dream big.
Dream of wishes again and again.
Love from Hannah and the friendly,
Big,
Fluffy,
Sweet black cat.
Yep.
