My beginner self believed that meditation was about “fixing” my problems in life. I’ve since come to realize that to me, meditation is about healing an abused me, by me. It’s about finding a grounding. It’s about acceptance. It’s about forgiveness. It’s about love of myself and creating a safe environment for my being mentally as well as physically. And when that happens, the outside problems become more tolerable. This piece put me there. It let my self, my inner being, open up and be vulnerable to the sounds, the vibrations the flowing of sounds from my ears to my heart to my feet. This was a wonderful meditation piece.
