Welcome to this guided meditation called meditate on favorite animals.
Let's begin please get seated or lay down if you wish.
Connect to your breath with a nice sharp breath in and fully exhale.
Stretch a little,
Think of your posture as you adjust yourself,
Closing the left eye,
Then closing the right eye.
Let the eyes inside go down.
We spend a lot of time looking downwards to our favorite animals.
We need different animals for different emotions and life itself.
Let the eyes go up,
But sometimes we physically get so close to the point we look up at them as we enter the world being an animal.
Finally stretch hands out as flat as you can,
Expand each finger separately and just rotate those thumbs ten seconds now.
Relax your hands,
Relax your eyes,
Clench the feet like they were animal feet,
Nice tight ball of muscles and ten nails.
An inward stretch,
Soles of the feet wrinkle underneath.
Hold it and let's think of a favorite animal you need right now.
Expand your mind because what animal would you yourself like to be for a while?
Have ten seconds.
Nice sharp breath in and fully exhale.
Animals with paws and claws,
Four legs,
A very nice coat and good senses.
Perhaps you are beautiful too,
Maybe just extremely cute or simply perfection,
The natural world of animals.
Where would you go if everything you usually do stopped for a while?
What's on the agenda has been rescheduled as you deepen to the animal world.
Would you sniff the wind and know exactly what's a mile around you?
Is food all that you crave?
To sheer hunger,
Extremely healthy appetite,
Needing energy food so you can go and play in the big world.
Can you jump and how high is good and safe for you?
Do you think of the past or only in this moment to moment seeing everything new again?
Maybe you dream of all the nice things that have happened,
For a good dream would help with sleep.
Are your memories accurate or added fun,
Added bravery?
Did you do it perfect in your dreams?
Run faster flying off the ground.
Some animals are born to be independent,
Therefore they must look after number one.
But here we all have this in common,
Knowing you have a place to sleep,
A meal to nourish you,
Water the tonic of life,
For you are always reminded you have a body.
It's all about being you,
Open to new adventures,
So earthly land beneath your feet and skies above your head and you are in the middle.
Can you feel your heart beating on autopilot?
What facial expressions can you make?
Can you open wide the mouth and show all your teeth right now?
Can you look angry or simply annoyed?
And then totally serene,
Calm and in your power.
Calm is when all needs are met.
Breathe into serene,
With a sharp breath in and a super long exhale.
Imagine your favorite tree.
What does this tree look like right now?
Have 10 seconds.
Nature is important to you and trees are like earth's medicine,
So just go to it quickly and climb into the belly of that tree and let all of the body and face melt into its branches and leaves.
Up here,
Listening only to the wind current,
The breeze that makes the tree speak with a swish.
Listen carefully as you power up on earth's medicine.
Stay right here,
Let the tree support you and dissolve old dense energy and just be.
Have two minutes here,
The animal in you and your favorite tree.
Yawn and coming alive,
The whole body begins to stretch,
Recharge.
As you begin to climb down that favorite tree,
Feeling ready to start again,
As you take a nice sharp breath in and a nice deep exhale,
Opening your eyes to the count of three.
One,
Two,
Three.
Eyes opening bright and happy.
