Welcome to this guided sleep meditation called First Christmas for Toby the Magic Cat.
Let's begin in your bedroom and please squeeze your pillow and make it fluffy and dreamy.
Then settle please into bed now get as comfortable as a cat.
Closing one eye for dreams and closing the next eye for Toby the Magic Cat.
And it's first Christmas.
Ooh wee!
All adventures begin when Toby goes in the box.
In fact,
Most cats do still love any box that you may leave around.
Toby loves many things just like you.
Listen please for the dream has already begun.
Toby is in for a treat,
It's first Christmas.
Dreams begin when the cat goes in the box and they can dream.
They are masters of sleep of deep,
So deep relaxation.
Once they have cleansed themselves once they have stretched then a yawn,
Yawn.
Big dreams,
The best if you please.
Stretch yourself,
Push your heels down and cleanse in a bubble of light.
Oh dear,
There is going to be a lot of questions from Toby.
What's that?
What's this?
Why a tree in the house?
Are you singing?
And lots of presents.
All are fun questions with fun,
Fantastic answers.
Now it is a sign for you yourself to shrink to tiny.
So Toby can pick you up and put you in the magic box.
So think tiny and shrink getting smaller and smaller.

And now it's time for Toby to pick you up and put you in the magic box.

And so it's time to explore and explain Christmas.
But why a little sad?
Well it's winter and now it's CODA.
It's time for presents Toby.
How about a warm fluffy blanket to join us in the box?
We looked at each other and smiled but cats always look like they are smiling.
And then we said fluffy warm blanket and so it popped in the air like a popper and floated down onto us both.
Where has the sun gone?
It is the season of winter.
Nature must rest.
Oh it's all about the moon and stars and the Christmas star.
Look up and see how bright it is tonight.
We need to go and fly outside.
And show you all the new Christmas lights.
Suddenly we are everywhere outside.
For outside has begun the flashing exciting Christmas lights from lots of different homes.
Look close Toby and see a tree through each window.
And so he did.
Look closer Toby and must have an angel or a Christmas star at the top of that tree.
And so he looked again.
And most will have bright pretty presents underneath that tree.
Toby is excited because they look like a box lots of them.
Hold your breath for a second with excitement because up high are the snow clouds.
They are preparing to release snowflakes.
You may want to catch your first snowflake but they will melt on your paws and on your tongue.
But we do it anyway and spend 20 seconds catching snowflakes.

It is a special time the Christmas singing begins.
It's so incredibly special.
Everyone can sing.

Why so much magic?
Says Toby the magic cat.
It's all to do with the word Christmas that is a public holiday on the 25th of December.
Each and every Christmas every year.
Christmas is about the birth of God's son called Jesus.
It is about how Jesus came to give us love and hope and joy.
And that message doesn't change from year to year.
And so we all celebrate with all the magic we hold.
Now children love Santa.
I shall tell Toby about him too.
The legend of Santa,
Santa Claus can go all the way back hundreds of years to a monk named Saint Nicholas.
He was admired for his kindness and generosity.
And he also wore a red robe.
Toby's eyes grow big with excitement.
And Santa Claus lives at the North Pole where he spends his time training his magical reindeers shining his magical sleigh and working with his magic elves who make presents for Christmas.
And most of all on Christmas Eve the 25th of December each year Santa and his reindeers take off from the North Pole early in the morning to deliver presents all around the world in one magical moment.
The magic box is already excited and it's time to pay a visit.
So off you go to the North Pole and make some wonderful dreams.
