So welcome everybody to this mindful pause.
I invite you to take a moment with yourself as you settle the body into either a seated position or a standing position or you can be lying down.
And now simply bring some awareness to your body as it is.
You might notice the pull of gravity.
You might notice areas of tightness,
Areas of softness.
Perhaps you can feel the sensation of air on the skin.
And now seeing if you can pay particular attention to breath.
Noticing the breath breathing itself in the region of the chest.
Not thinking about the breath but entering it directly.
And now as you feel the breath in this part of the body,
Begin to direct some kindness towards the space of your own breathing,
Beating heart.
Seeing if you can bring kindness,
Acceptance to your heart,
To your body,
To your mind,
To your life just as it is in this moment.
Perhaps extending a wish towards yourself directly into the space of your heart.
May I be at peace.
And as you breathe kindness in and through the space of your heart,
Allowing it to settle inside of you.
And perhaps extending that wish from your heart to all the other hearts.
May we all be at peace.
