The intention with this meditation is to localize an area with stagnant energy inside your body that you would like to release. Together we breathe into it, become curious about it, find out what it wants, to thereafter letting it go. We aim to move into our bodies and see what our bodily wisdom shares with us. This technique is inspired by Focusing which is an internally oriented psychotherapeutic process developed by psychotherapist Eugene Gendlin.

Hi you,

This meditation is for releasing stagnant energies.

Stagnant energies can build up,

Similar to a house that builds up dust and hasn't been cleaned in a while,

Or that hasn't had the windows open to get fresh air in.

Stagnant energies can also be stuck in your body regardless of the cleaning,

It can for an example be an emotion that hasn't had the space to express and release or a wound that needs care.

Let's begin.

I will on my end call in guidance out of the highest beneficial alignment.

Feel free to do the same if you feel called.

Breathe in and breathe out.

How does your body feel?

Tune into the sense.

Does it feel light?

Is there anywhere that you sense a density or a tightness perhaps?

If you would explain it in words,

Does this sense have a shape or a colour?

All answers are valid and if nothing comes up for you,

That is valid too.

So let's take a few deep breaths together.

Inhale crisp fresh air into the area or part that might feel stagnant.

And exhale what wants to be released and see if you can exhale a little bit extra than what you inhaled.

And again let's breathe in freshness,

A clear breeze from a meadow into the area that may be holding stagnant energy.

Loosening up whatever energy that is there.

And inquire if there is something that you need to know about this energy.

Perhaps it is there to protect you,

Maybe it exists because there is a feeling that would be beneficial to go through,

Maybe something that does not belong to you there,

Maybe a wound that needs to be tended to,

Perhaps a little clue will show up for you.

And if not,

That is all good too.

And exhale anything that can be released and see if you can exhale a little bit more than what you inhaled.

Now we are going to go further inside the stagnant energy and we are going to ask a few questions and let your body respond,

Not your mind.

Let's see if we can receive any information.

Is there a feeling or a sense that is related to this energy?

Is there a feeling or a sense that is related to this stuck energy or stagnation?

Perhaps an emotion around it?

Perhaps a thought pattern around it?

Good job.

Feel yourself grounded on the surface that you are sitting or laying on.

Inhale and exhale.

Stay in your body.

Let's ask the stagnation what it wants.

Does it have an answer for you?

And as you inquire,

Make sure that your body answers and not your mind.

What comes to you?

What does your body want to tell you?

This is good work.

Then inhale.

Fully fill your belly.

And exhale.

Does it want anything from you or does it need anything?

This ends the stagnation.

Beautiful.

Inhale fresh air,

A crisp breath.

Gently and lovingly into the stagnant energy.

Loosen it up a little bit and breathe out whatever wants to go.

Let's tune in again.

How this sense is now.

Is there a shape,

A colour that was related to this feeling or stagnation?

Has this changed anything from the first time?

Good.

And breathe in and out.

If there was a feeling related to this,

Has it changed?

And breathe into it.

Sometimes all that stagnant energy needs are presence and gentle care in order to loosen up and go and other times stagnant energies can take a little bit of work.

If you do not feel satisfied,

I invite you to come back and repeat this process until you find release or an answer that you are satisfied with.

Be curious what you can find out about it.

Some layers can be built up and with gentleness and love we can slowly remove a layer by layer.

If you practice patience and determination to releasing,

I assure you that it has been noted and you will find release with commitment.

You can also repeat this a few cycles.

If you felt a shift or did not feel a shift,

Let's take a moment to thank the process,

Any support that might have been with you during this process.

Let's thank the energy and thank yourself,

Gratitude.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And inhale and exhale fully.

And now afterwards sense into if something could be learned from this.

Did it bring wisdom for you or any knowledge?

And I am wishing you a light and bright day or night.

Inhale smile and release.

I located an area of stagnant energy and the process led to a shift, a loosening, I could feel movement toward the close of the guidance. 🙏
