Welcome to this chakra meditation.
We will bring our attention to the subtle energies of the body,
To balance,
Energize,
And bless the chakras.
Make yourself comfortable and rest down into the earth.
Sit with your spine straight,
Balancing your head on the top of your spine,
And with a cushion under your hips.
Release the jaw.
Release the muscles in the abdomen.
Then release the shoulders.
Extend your tailbone down towards the earth,
And imagine your roots diving deep,
Deep into the earth,
Anchoring you to Mother Earth.
Tuck your chin to elevate the crown of your head up to the sky.
Here you sit between heaven and earth.
Feel yourself as the connection between the sky and the earth.
Gentle abdominal breathing,
Allowing the belly to expand with each inhalation,
And draw in with each exhalation.
Imagine your chakras like beads on a string.
Breathing in,
I am supported by the universe.
Breathing out,
I am supported by the universe.
Life is ever giving of itself.
Inhale,
Expand.
Exhale,
Contract.
Outer body soft,
Inner body bright.
Inhaling energy,
And with each exhalation embracing your core.
Feel the contraction of the escalation as a little hug.
Notice your core brighten as you breathe out,
Gently hugging your center.
Visualizing a gently vibrating,
Slowly spinning,
Bright red ball at the base of your spine,
Glowing brightly,
Sparkling.
Feeling into your base chakra,
Muladhara,
Or root support.
Bring attention to the legs.
This is the element of earth.
It is solid,
Supported,
Safe,
And secure.
It is the strong platform for which you can move.
I am safe.
I am secure.
The earth supports me.
I have everything I need right here.
I bring my gifts to the world.
Bless your energy center for the greatest good.
Next,
Bring your attention to a bright glowing orange ball in the sacral region,
Just below the umbilicus.
It is gently spinning,
This time a little faster,
And sparkling with bright energy.
This is svadisthana,
Meaning sweetness,
The element of water,
Movement,
And exploration.
Juiciness and the rich flowing of emotion and sensation.
I take my place.
I delight in myself.
I am alive to life's pleasures.
I find my own sweet spot.
Bless the sacral chakra for the greatest good of all.
Focus attention on the solar plexus,
Visualizing a spinning bright yellow ball,
Glowing and expanding like a small sun.
This is malipura,
The radiant jewel,
The element of fire.
It represents power,
Your will,
And self-control.
It is the energy that moves you.
Think of your will as mastering rather than dominating.
I use my will wisely.
I am powerful.
I validate my needs.
Moving from the love of power to the power of love,
And blessing the solar plexus chakra.
Experiencing a beautiful deep green in the heart center,
Anahata,
Meaning unstruck or unhurt.
This is the central point of the system,
The balance point.
Bring your hand to your heart and rest it there.
To open the heart is to balance the whole system.
As we do our healing work the heart becomes unhurt.
As we open the heart we find balance and peace and our own inner home.
I love.
I nurture.
Light flows through me.
Allow your breath to be full and free.
Breathing in energy directly to the heart center.
And blessing the heart center for the greatest good.
Moving attention to the throat chakra,
A brilliant blue ball spinning faster now,
Speckled with diamonds.
This is the element of sound,
Vishuddha,
Meaning purification.
Speaking truth leads to purification,
Harmony and resonance.
My words flow easily from deep within.
It is safe for me to speak.
I have a voice.
Bringing your attention to the space around the throat chakra.
Noticing the sensation here.
And blessing the throat chakra for the greatest good.
May my words be powerful.
May my words connect with others.
Moving your attention to the third eye,
Anya chakra.
A glowing indigo ball of light.
This chakra's name means to proceed,
To command.
It is here that you dream,
Where your ideas and concepts begin,
Which can be brought to fruition.
I am light.
I see deeply.
Bring your attention to the area around the third eye.
And bless this energy center for the greatest good.
May I see and create what is good for myself and others.
May I be inspired to create.
At the crown of the head,
Slightly above the crown of the head,
Is Sahasrara,
A vibrant violet ball spinning much faster now,
Representing the element of consciousness.
It is glowing with diamond flecks.
It is your connection to the infinite,
The divine.
When it is open and in balance,
You are in connection with infinite energy,
Infinite inspiration and infinite possibilities.
I am divine.
I have always been here.
I exist beyond time.
Bring your attention to the area around your head.
And bless your crown chakra for the greatest good.
May I be open to divine inspiration.
Now bring your attention to the area around your whole body.
Notice the sensation of energy moving as the chakras balance and unite mind and body,
Heaven and earth.
You may feel vibration,
Tingling,
Warmth or expansion.
Opening to the divine now,
Imagine a stream of beautiful golden light entering the crown of your head and passing through each chakra in turn.
See them spinning,
Energized and glowing brightly within.
From the violet crown chakra to the deep indigo anya chakra into the bright blue throat chakra,
The beautiful green heart center,
The golden yellow solar plexus,
The orange sacral chakra and the deep red base chakra.
Hold this energy in your body as you breathe in,
Allowing it to enter every cell,
Bringing light,
Energy and calm.
I am powerful beyond measure.
I have access to infinite supply.
The universe supports me.
And now noticing the earth energy streaming up through the base chakra into the body,
Anchoring you to the earth,
Moving through the red base chakra,
The orange sacral chakra,
The yellow solar plexus,
The green heart space,
The blue throat center,
The deep indigo third eye and the violet crown.
The earth energy anchors you to the earth.
The earth will always support you.
Gently moving the body now,
Wiggling the toes and the fingers,
Stretching up overhead,
Bringing yourself back to the room,
Gently opening your eyes and thanking yourself for this practice,
Blessing yourself for the greater good of all.
