A journey to self-renewal,

A view from the mountaintop.

This is your time to relax.

Know that your only point of power is in the present moment.

This is the moment for you to allow yourself to let go and simply be.

Just be.

Give yourself permission to unlearn all the thoughts you have learned.

Free your mind.

Free your thoughts.

Let go of any judgments.

Feel yourself freer and lighter as you begin to situate yourself in a comfortable position.

Shift around until you feel settled.

Relaxation is a skill that is developed.

The more you practice your relaxation,

The more you will enable yourself to maintain a sense of balance and inner peace.

Allow yourself to become very comfortable and very relaxed.

Just become comfortably relaxed.

If you are in a chair,

Plant your feet firmly on the floor.

If you are lying down,

Allow your arms and legs to be free from constriction.

Get ready now for your personal journey into self-discovery and self-renewal.

Close your eyes and relax.

Focus your attention on your breathing.

Slowly inhale through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.

As you inhale,

Breathe in peace,

Fulfillment,

And confidence.

Slowly exhale.

Breathe out anxiety,

Tension,

And any limiting thoughts.

Feel the supporting environment gently accept your body as you slowly and gently sink into it.

Let yourself sink down deeper into the supporting environment below.

Begin to feel the peacefulness around you.

Just relax,

Release,

And let go.

At any time during this relaxation,

If you have any distracting thoughts coming to you,

Visualize a nice big billowy cloud above.

Place those distracting thoughts on the cloud and watch that cloud float off and away.

Place those thoughts up high on the cloud and watch it float far,

Far away.

The further away it is,

The more detached you become.

Watch it disappear and dissolve into nothingness.

Now scan your body from your head to your toes.

Focus on the top of your head and feel the relaxation flow through your entire being.

Slowly allow your face to go limp.

Release your jaw.

Sense the massaging effect of relaxation move through your scalp.

A comfortable heaviness settles in your neck,

Radiating into the shoulders.

Feel the warmth of relaxation penetrate down your arms into your fingers and thumbs.

As the wave of relaxation lingers,

It begins to travel from the top of your spine to your hips.

Your pelvis sinks deeper into the supporting environment as the flow of relaxation moves down your thighs,

Into your knees,

Releasing the low legs,

And sending the relaxation out to the bottom of your feet.

Be completely and totally immersed in the gentle relaxation.

Allow yourself to be consumed by the soothing effect of muscular release.

If you detect residual tension,

Focus on it.

Visualize,

Feel,

And sense the warmth radiating into that area.

The relaxation blends in harmony with the rest of the body.

The total sum of the parts is now one,

One whole,

Mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Relaxed and receptive to your inner love,

Truth,

And goodness.

Visualize yourself at the base of a beautiful majestic mountain.

Notice the surrounding environment.

Allow yourself to be one with the elements.

Breathe deep the fresh mountain air.

Allow it to purify you.

Be captured by the richness of the lush green grass and growth of sweet scented flowers.

Feel the gentle breeze cleansing every cell of your body.

Hear the gentle bubbling brook,

The free flowing waters.

Focus on how crystal clear it is.

You are drawn to the water's edge and nestle in the haven of soft grass around it.

You are lulled into a soothing state of knowingness that this space and place is very special.

Feel the flow of support flooding your body.

Remain snuggled in the grass as you begin to experience a comfortable heaviness in your body.

Feel a sense of security and safety where you are.

Feel confident and competent.

Own this place within you as a source of strength and encouragement.

View the heavens above and feel the earth below as you joyfully anticipate your journey ahead.

In the distance is a waterfall.

You walk up to the waterfall and notice it is filled with white light.

Allow the waterfall of white light to pour into the top of your head.

Bathe yourself in its luminosity and feel the healing effect through your entire being,

Filling every cell of your body with love,

Light,

Truth,

And grace.

As you take in the sounds of the water,

The radiant warmth of the sun above,

The strength of the mountains,

And the healing white light of the waterfall,

Absorb these senses into one.

Lift your awareness to a level of knowing that you have all the potential within you to achieve great things.

You are pure potential.

Trust in the moment.

Feel deep within you your confidence,

Love,

And enthusiasm for life.

Say to yourself,

I am confident in my abilities to accomplish whatever I set my mind,

My heart,

And spirit on doing.

I love life.

Step back and examine the mountain.

Gaze at the mountain's top and observe the pathway below,

Carved by footprints in eight steps representing your journey to self-renewal.

The lengthy climb between each step provides opportunity to experience your essence.

Venture toward the path now,

Leading up the base of the mountain.

Take your first step.

This is the step to release,

To release from your life what no longer serves a purpose,

To forgive those that you harbor resentments or ill feelings.

Allow yourself to release these feelings so you can live and enjoy the present moment.

Let go of self-imposed limitations that have been holding you back from your true potential.

Begin now by accepting your goodness and releasing the doubts and the fears of the past.

Before you,

Visualize a giant gate,

An elaborate mammoth gateway.

As you stand before this gate,

Observe your life and review what was,

Whatever that may be.

It may be filled with constructive thought and destructive thought,

Laughter and tears.

Simply review it,

Acknowledge it,

Embrace it.

Slowly glance behind you and view your past.

Willingly release the need within you to hold onto these old patterns.

Turn back around,

Proceed forward and release it all as you simultaneously walk through the gateway.

When you reach the other side,

Feel empowerment as you dismiss the past and reclaim your personal power.

Keep mindful that letting go of the old creates opportunity for the new.

Say to yourself,

I now willingly embrace and love life.

Get ready to take your second step,

To affirm and appreciate.

Affirm your goodness and appreciate yourself for who you are and what you are in this present moment.

Love yourself unconditionally for all the goodness you bring to the world.

Your uniqueness is a gift.

Appreciate and cherish it.

You are a good person.

To appreciate enhances life.

It is the connection to your heart.

Express and share your appreciation with all around you and experience a sense of inner peace and satisfaction.

Say to yourself,

I appreciate myself and affirm all the goodness in my life.

The climb is steep to the third step as you pull yourself up to discover clarity,

Purpose and clear intention.

To manifest a goal is to trust and believe in yourself and hold that vision firm in front of you.

Create the vision of your dreams.

Be clear.

Clarity aligns your physical,

Mental,

Emotional and spiritual self.

When you ask for clarity,

Get silent and go within.

Your purpose will then become clear.

Purpose is a stream of energy you flow into when you create something that serves the good of all.

It is the evolution of your spiritual self with your mind and body.

Spiritual growth enhances your awareness of all around you and in you.

Your heart,

Your beauty,

Love,

Nature.

Purpose means believing in yourself.

Say to yourself,

I seek and find clarity and purpose in my life.

Striving toward the mountain summit,

Step up to the fourth step to achieve balance.

All change can bring balance and peace in your life when viewed in clear thought.

How you respond to the world around creates your inner balance.

Keep your sense of balance when someone is speaking to you in an angry fashion.

If you send them love,

You will reassert your balance and detach from their unbalance.

Balance is the midpoint of opposites.

It is achieving neutrality.

Balance is moderation.

It is doing the right amount of everything and feeling good about it.

Balance is slowing down when you become fatigued and allow yourself to ride the waves as they come in.

Create the vision of balance in your life and say to yourself,

I am living a life in balance and stability.

You are feeling very strong now as you step up to the fifth step,

Lightheartedness.

Simply let go of the boundaries.

Explore the unknown.

Learn to laugh and really feel it.

When you laugh,

You free your heart of any heaviness.

Feel it getting lighter.

Get silly and let your inner child out to play.

Give yourself permission to free your inhibitions,

Lighten your heart and be playful.

Say to yourself,

I am filled with the loving energy of lightheartedness.

As you venture forward,

Feel your entire body,

Mind and spirit pull you up to the sixth step.

Love.

Love is the foundation of life.

It is the wisdom of the heart.

Love is a sense of knowing,

A connection to another,

A connection to your higher self.

Believe in your ability to love more than you ever have.

Reflect on a moment when you were filled with love.

Feel it,

Embrace it,

Expand it.

Your love sustains and heals you.

It is the key to the lock of your own personal growth and awareness.

Send your love and inner light out to others and willingly receive the acknowledgement of your love and light from others.

Say to yourself,

I am filled with the essence of love.

The more love I send out,

The more love I receive.

I love myself unconditionally.

Feel your essence emerging as you lift yourself up to the seventh step.

Receive.

Receive all the gifts and blessings that are yours.

Experience silence within,

Deep within your core.

Listen in your heart and spirit.

Know you are worthy to receive.

As you enhance your self-concept and inner trust,

You reach new heights,

New awareness,

And new realities.

The more you acknowledge how much you are receiving,

The more you will have.

Open yourself to receive your abundance now.

Say to yourself,

I willingly receive all the goodness that awaits me.

You meet your eighth and final step on your journey,

The step to thankfulness.

To perpetuate your goodness,

Always be grateful for the changes in your life.

Give thanks to your higher power for the abundance that is yours.

Say to yourself,

I am thankful to my higher power for the abundance that is mine.

As you rise to the summit of the mountain,

You are filled with elation and self-acceptance and self-respect.

Look at the beauty surrounding you and within you.

Feel the gentle relaxing winds of heaven dance around you and through you.

Embrace the partnership of your mind,

Body,

And spirit.

The oneness,

The wholeness,

The ability to flow freely within you.

You are your essence.

Recognize your inner strength and beauty.

You are filled with courage,

Wisdom,

Truth,

And inner peace.

Feel lighter,

Freer,

Unencumbered.

This sense of lightness lifts you above the endless ebb and flow of life.

You now acquire a broader vision.

You see the goodness in everyone.

You develop clear intention,

Purpose,

And manifest goals.

Your knowingness is magnified.

Feel the sense of self-renewal.

This is yours.

You feel accomplished,

Confident,

And competent.

Your heart is affirmed by your goodness.

Your heart is knowing.

Your heart is filled with laughter.

Your heart is willing to give and receive.

Just sit back and view your journey with a sense of awe and appreciation.

To continue experiencing quantum steps in your life,

Change limiting thoughts to abundant thoughts.

Say to yourself,

I think positive.

I look positive.

I am positive.

Create your vision of abundance in truth and belief,

And act upon your inner guidance.

Your mind creates the goal with clear intention and commits to receiving it.

Your spirit sends out and magnetizes the events that create what you want.

Keep your feet firm in the earth.

As your mind,

Heart,

And spirit remain in the heavens,

Stretch yourself,

Believe in yourself,

Hold on to your truth.

Continue to fill yourself with the riches of essence and the richness of grace.

Be filled with all that empowers your mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Know that you can take yourself to the mountain summit at any time during your day and experience your journey of self-renewal.

Simply close your eyes and visualize yourself on your mountaintop.

Getting ready now to bring yourself out of relaxation.

Let's complete your journey by reviewing the eight steps of self-renewal,

Beginning with the first step.

Release.

Two,

Affirm and appreciate.

Three,

Clarity,

Purpose,

And clear intention.

Four,

Balance.

And now feel all extra heaviness leaving your body.

Five,

Lightheartedness.

Six,

Love.

Seven,

To receive.

And coming out of relaxation now.

Eight,

Thankfulness.

Feeling more awake,

More aware,

And more alive.

Just feel a sense of invigoration and self-renewal.

And know each and every day you are getting better and better.

Bring yourself back to this space and place and just take your time.

And breathe deep a complete inhalation and feel the revitalization and the exhilaration.

And slowly and completely exhale.

As you inhale again,

Take it in deeply and completely and stretch your arms up overhead as if it's the first big yawn of the day.

And then slowly exhale.

And when you are ready,

Slowly open up your eyes.

Know that you are at peace with yourself and all around you.

And in silence you say to yourself,

I am the light of my truth.

I am.

Yes.
