This is a morning affirmation meditation for when you open your eyes and take that first stretch out of bed.
It's okay if this is your first one.
Now you know.
Whether you are brushing your teeth or enjoying your first cup of coffee,
Tea or matcha,
Begin to affirm yourself in this way.
Thank you for waking me up this morning.
To be both a blessing and to be blessed.
I thank you for the activity of my limbs and the faculty of my senses.
So may I trust my breath today.
May I trust my ability to communicate effectively.
May I trust the preparation that will surely meet opportunity.
And if today is the day,
I welcome that opportunity.
I welcome whatever has my name on it.
I welcome it knowing that it is mine.
It is mine to enjoy.
It is mine to reap.
It is mine to bear.
But it is not mine alone.
I affirm myself today knowing that whatever comes my way,
I have the tools or the support and the resources to own it and see myself through.
I affirm my ability to make great decisions for me.
Not just the person I am today,
But the person I am becoming.
I honor the bumps in the road just as much as I honor the smooth road ahead.
I honor myself in a way that only I can.
May I honor my voice today.
May I honor it by not shrinking.
May I honor it by taking up space the most positive way I can.
May I honor that today.
May I honor the sense of community today,
That I am both in and of a community that is loving,
That is open and affirming,
And that speaks to my soul.
And may I be that for someone who may be seeking that.
Allow my heart and my mind to be open to welcome community.
I affirm myself in this moment that I am exactly where I need to be.
And that what I have done yesterday is behind me.
What I have to do tomorrow,
I won't rush,
But I'll stay in the moments of today.
I affirm that no anxious energy will disturb my peace and no negativity will knock me off my center.
I affirm today will be a day I stay grounded.
