This is a guided meditation by Lauren from Lovewell.

Enjoy.

As we begin this meditation on the easy,

A play on words to let us know colloquially to take it easy.

I want you to situate yourself in a comfortable position,

Whatever feels most comfortable and authentic to you.

Whether that's lying down,

Sitting up,

But if you really want to get the most out of this experience,

I would suggest to listen to this as you stretch.

For movement in your body releases a lot of tension so that when you walk away from this meditation you will indeed be easy.

So as you get yourself situated,

Pay attention to your breath,

Making sure you are breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And before we begin,

Just take a deep breath,

Holding it for three seconds and exhaling out through your mouth.

And as we relax into this meditation,

Consider what it is that you need to be easy on.

What problem,

What situation,

Thought,

Person,

Place,

Or thing do you need to take it easy with?

Perhaps it's yourself and how you talk to yourself,

What you think about yourself,

And how you ultimately treat yourself.

When you think about this,

Is it more negatives than positives or more positives than negatives?

I'll give you about a minute and a half to really sit with this thought.

How do I talk,

Think,

And treat myself?

Remembering to breathe in and out.

Thinking of the words,

Be easy as you breathe.

Be easy.

Be easy.

As you continue to breathe,

Fill in the blank at the end of that statement.

Be easy with dot,

Dot,

Dot.

Whatever is on the negative side,

You want to be easy on.

Whatever's on the positive side,

You want to focus on.

Considering all that life has shown us,

Brought us to,

Gave us an opportunity to engage with,

There are some things that we can indeed be easy on.

What is your current bandwidth at the moment?

Are you taking on too much too soon?

Is there pressure to do something right away that you know you can take it easy on?

Whatever it is,

Be easy.

Psalm 46.

10 tells us to be still and to know that I am God.

God is able to calm the storms of your life as evident in the Gospel of Mark,

4th chapter,

Verse 39.

Peace,

Be still.

To me that sounds like,

Take it easy,

My child.

Take it easy.

Rely on me as much as this world and all of your responsibilities and priorities and obligations rely on you.

Rely on the one true and living God to calm the storms of your life,

To tell and to mandate the seas and the storms to be still.

And as God is calming the storms,

The winds,

And the sea around you,

It's up to you to calm the sea from your mind,

To calm the tension in your body,

And to regulate the storm within.

And if you're moving your body,

Relax your shoulders,

Drop them.

Feeling to breathe,

Stretch your arms out,

Flex your feet,

And smile.

Smile to yourself and all of the positive words to fill your mind at this moment.

Hope you're still smiling.

It indeed matters what we tell ourselves about ourselves.

It matters how we talk to ourselves,

How we talk about ourselves to other people,

And how we treat ourselves when no one is watching.

It all matters.

Don't allow the pressures of this world and the influence of others have you rushing to do to do without understanding why you do what you do.

Be easy.

Be easy on anything that makes it complicated,

Makes yourself complicated,

Make you unsure of who you are,

Make you unsure of the choices you're making.

Take it easy.

And know that God can and God will take care of you.

Continuing to breathe in.

This is a perfect time for you to create a be easy mantra for yourself.

And the prompt is be easy,

Kid.

You fill in the rest.

You know where the storms are in your life.

You know what's causing you anxiety and tension in your body.

Speak to that and tell it to take it easy.

And as while you're speaking to that,

Also affirm yourself that I can be easy with this.

That in due time,

Things will become clear.

An opportunity will present itself and there will be no complicated thoughts.

I hope you will be easy.

Until next time,

Be blessed,

Love well,

Be well,

Bye-bye.
