Hello,
This is a guided meditation by Lauren from Love Well.
Enjoy.
We'll begin with taking three deep breaths in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
And for this meditation,
I would love for you to be seated with your feet firmly placed on the ground,
Your hands on your knees with palms facing up so that we are present in this moment.
Taking a deep breath in.
Be present for the day.
Be present for yourself.
And be present for your breath.
Often in the meditative moments,
We position ourselves on the thought or many thoughts that may arise.
But for this particular meditation,
We are going to position ourselves around this word of self trust.
We talk much about self love and self care but do we talk about self trust and what that looks like what that feels like what that embodies for us as we live day to day.
Not just trying to survive,
But tapping into ways to thrive.
Are we self trust.
So as you continue to breathe.
And as we go through this meditative state together.
I want you to envision what trust looks like feels like smells like tastes like for you and your journey.
As we sit here in this thought.
Let us trust the sentiments of our thoughts.
Let us trust the breath of our bodies that it won't fail us that it keeps giving us life keeps breathing in new opportunities and releasing old.
We're trusting that the situation whatever situation we find ourselves in to get better.
We're trusting ourselves to get through.
We're trusting our decisions.
And we're trusting our strength.
Just keep breathing,
Not taking for granted what life has been what life currently is and what life shall be.
As we continue to build blocks of self trust,
Not negating self love and self care but knowing that self trust is also a key to succeeding and thriving in life.
Will I trust the decision that I make about my job.
Will I trust the decisions that I made for my children.
As adolescents.
Will I trust myself.
When faced with a crisis.
Will I trust myself enough to ask for help when needed.
Will I trust myself enough to say I love you good job you've done well.
Will I trust myself to keep breathing,
Taking in the fullness of new air.
I trust myself to inhale new opportunities I trust myself to be prepared for new opportunities I trust myself to do the right thing.
I trust myself.
Because I know that so I trust thyself because I love thyself I love thyself because I've known and explored and have come to realization that I am not by myself.
But that I must trust myself.
As we inhale the new opportunities and possibilities of what self trust looks like we are exhaling and releasing past experiences that had us doubting ourselves that had us feeling as though we were less than inferior to.
It is in this moment in this meditative moment that we are trusting and seeking self trust,
Because self trust is what we need self trust gives us the ability to become mirrors for others,
It gives us the ability to be what it is that we have thought of ourselves.
It gives us the ability to do our work.
That is both both personal and communal.
It gives us the courage and the boldness to be that who God has created us to be determined,
Loving,
Kind,
Gracious,
Able.
Will I trust thyself?
Will I love thyself?
Will I honor thyself?
Not just in this moment but in moments to come and in situations that will arise will I trust my ability to be loving?
Will I trust my ability to be vulnerable?
Will I trust my ability to do it and do it scared?
Will I trust that if I fall baby I could get back up?
Will I trust that if my knees buckle,
They won't give out?
Will I trust that if I do it scared that I'll be rewarded with whatever life has to give me because I took that step?
Will I trust that net to catch me if I fall?
The net of family,
The net of friends,
The net of support that we see,
The net of support that we don't see?
Will I trust it enough to make that leap?
Will I trust that my work to self will be kind,
That my work to self will be just,
That my work to self will be a reflection of that which I have poured into me for others to do the exact same for themselves?
Will I trust that I can,
I will,
And I have self trust?
Breathing,
Continuing to breathe,
Who will you trust?
Not will I trust mom,
Not will I trust dad,
Brother,
Husband,
Wife,
Sister,
Friends,
Co-workers,
Not even God.
But in this moment,
Will I trust myself to show up?
Will I trust myself to walk in the fullness of thyself?
Will I trust?
Will I trust that God already knew the plans established for me?
If only I trust myself.
Will you trust?
That is the question.
Will you trust?
And taking three deep breaths in before we begin,
I mean before we end.
Will you trust?
Will you trust?
Will you trust thyself?
