Welcome beautiful soul.
Just take a deep breath.
This is a wave of grief and you don't have to ride it alone.
You don't have to hold yourself together right now.
So just for the next few minutes,
We'll take it one breath at a time.
Now I want you to gently come back into your body and notice what you can feel.
It could be the surface beneath you.
The air on your skin.
Your hands resting where they are.
Not even noticing your breath.
Just sensing yourself here.
And if it feels right,
Place a hand over your heart or anywhere that feels comforting.
And feel that contact.
And let it remind you that you are here.
And right now in this moment,
You are safe enough to take one breath.
Take a slow breath in.
And a longer breath out.
Good.
One more time.
Breathing in.
And a longer breath out.
And if your mind seems busy or your chest feels tight,
You don't need to change anything.
Just stay with this one truth.
This is grief and I can breathe with it.
And again,
This is grief and I can breathe with it.
You are here breathing and this feeling,
It can move.
So take another moment and gently ask yourself,
What do I need right now?
It could be a sip of water,
A slower breath,
Maybe a kind word to yourself.
Whatever it is,
It doesn't have to be anything big.
Just one small kind step.
And for now,
All you need to do is let your hand stay where it is.
And take one more gentle breath.
You're grieving because you loved and I'm right here with you.
For the next few moments,
Just stay with me.
Feel the support beneath you.
Just follow your breath in.
And if this gave you one small moment of tenderness towards yourself,
Then it mattered.
So let's just stay with three more breaths.
Breathing in.
And out.
Breathing in.
And breathing in.
Just letting your breath support you one moment at a time.
I thank you for being here and I am with you.
Namaste.
