Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Laia and I'm glad that you are here,
That you are choosing to take some time for yourself.
Sometimes we may feel like we need to take a whole hour to unplug or disconnect or take a break,
When in truth oftentimes just pausing for a moment and becoming aware of how we feel can be quite enough.
So join me for this moment of presence.
If you're able to,
Find a place where you can sit down or lie down,
Making yourself as comfortable as you possibly can.
Feel free to close your eyes or soften your gaze down toward the ground.
Shift your body a little bit side to side,
Perhaps roll your shoulders a bit or move your neck around,
Eventually coming into stillness.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Open your mouth and slowly let all the air out.
Again,
Breathe in through your nose and let it out through your mouth.
Take a moment to observe how your body feels,
No matter what time of day you find yourself here,
No matter how your day has been,
Whether you have felt grounded and present or perhaps a little more scattered or hectic.
It's all good.
All the choices that you've made,
All the places that you've been,
Everything has brought you right here,
Right now.
So rejoice in this moment just because you can.
Inhale through your nose,
Exhale through your nose or your mouth.
Again,
Deep inhale through your nose and out through your nose or your mouth.
Inhale deeply and let it go.
Notice how you feel in your body.
Observe what is going on in your mind.
Notice the cadence of your breath,
Your capacity for being present.
And without any judgment about how you feel and how you are in this present moment,
Start to consider any minor shift you could make right now to start to feel a little bit more grounded,
A little bit more present,
A little bit more intentional of the reality unfolding moment to moment,
Breath to breath,
Recognizing that there is no right or wrong way to feel because every thought,
Every feeling will eventually end and leave room for whatever is next.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Let it go.
Notice where you can soften,
Whether that's in your body,
Your mind or beyond.
What can you let go of in this moment?
It doesn't have to be anything major.
Perhaps you simply let go of the clench in your jaw or a recurring thought that no longer serves you.
Breathe in through your nose.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Bring your palms together in front of your heart.
If that resonates with you,
Gently bow your head in gratitude,
Observing any changes in your body,
In your mind,
Energetically.
Thank you so much.
Be well.
