Today we'll try a different kind of walking meditation, designed to help you find your inner stillness even while moving. This is one of my favourite mindfulness techniques. I hope you enjoy it! Stay well.

Welcome to Wonderful.

How are you doing?

This is day 26 of our Mindfulness and Isolation course.

Today we're going to try a different kind of mindful walking experience.

This is best done outdoors if you can get outside for a walk.

But otherwise,

Just have a go where you are.

Either way,

You'll need a space you can walk easily for a few minutes.

Pause if you need some more time to get ready to walk.

Okay.

Start by walking along slowly.

Take a few deep breaths and notice how the air feels as it fills your lungs.

Now put your mind into the soles of your feet and focus in on the contact they make with the ground.

Nice.

Now for this experience,

We're going to try something different.

A shift of focus.

As you walk,

Try to imagine that instead of you moving through this space,

The space is moving through you.

Try to get the feeling that you are still and the world is moving past you.

Can you feel it?

Can you feel it?

This is just another way to access the still and calm place inside of you.

It's always there.

I'm going to leave you with some music to keep going.

One day at a time.

Thanks for being here.
