This meditation can be used when you need to regroup in the middle of a busy day,
As a reminder to stay present during tense situations,
Or any time you simply need to pause and reset.
Closing the eyes and gently placing a hand over your heart.
Noticing the heat radiating from your palm,
The comfort of the weight of your hand against your chest.
Feeling into the space between the chest and the hand.
Just noticing this space.
And now taking three slow breaths and noticing the coolness of air in your nostrils as you breathe in,
And the warmth of the air against your upper lip as you breathe out.
Breathing in,
Coolness.
Breathing out,
Warmth.
Breathing in,
Coolness.
Breathing out,
Warmth.
Breathing in,
Coolness.
Breathing out,
Warmth.
Resting for just a few seconds in the space of peace,
And then opening your eyes,
Returning to the room,
And continuing your day with a renewed sense of calm.
