Hello and welcome.
This is Klea from Growing Through Love.
In this meditation I will be guiding you to connect with your heart,
But not with the energetic aspect of your heart,
More so with the physical aspect.
This is a somatic meditation and during this meditation we are going to connect with our bodies and our heart as an organ that works so hard for us and that we often do not even notice.
So let's begin.
Make yourself comfortable.
You can lay down or sit in a comfortable place.
Gently close your beautiful eyes.
If you want to keep them open,
That's ok too.
Inhale and taking a deep breath through your nose,
To your chest,
To your belly.
Notice your belly expanding and slowly exhale through your nose or your mouth.
Inhale and notice your body.
Notice if there is any small shift happening in your body.
Maybe a bit of relaxation or a little feeling of surrender.
As we keep breathing gently and slowly through our nose,
To our chest,
To our belly.
Notice the belly expanding and gently exhale through your nose or your mouth,
Making the exhale be a bit longer than the inhale.
Grounding ourselves into this moment.
Everything that we need right now exists within this present moment and bringing our awareness to our hearts.
As we breathe in and out,
You can put your hands in your heart or imagine doing so.
Notice the beating of your heart,
Pumping nutrients and oxygen into your body.
With every exhale,
Your heart is removing something that no longer serves you.
Something that no longer serves your greatest good.
Notice any point of presence in your body.
It can be in your hands,
In your arms,
In your chest,
In your neck and throat,
In your back,
In the back of your head,
Or in your face,
In the muscles of your face that are continuously moving.
And now,
There is more presence and stillness in those muscles.
Notice if there are points of presence in your back,
In your lower back,
And in your body.
It can even be the beating of your heart as a reminder of this moment.
Any points of presence you can notice in your legs,
In your thighs,
In your knees,
In your shins,
In your feet and in your fingers and toes.
Letting your body dive into this feeling of presence and relaxation while bringing your awareness to your breath and your heartbeat.
Notice what is shifting as you dive into relaxation more and more.
Any sensations that are changing,
Becoming more or less present in your body.
Notice how is your body reacting.
Notice the feeling of relaxation and stillness and how your body is surrendering to this feeling.
You can stay in this feeling for as long as you desire.
You can even pause this recording to stay in this feeling for as long as you desire.
And when you are ready,
You can start slowly moving your fingers and your toes and the fingers of your hands and the thumbs and slowly moving your feet and your hands,
Moving your forearms and your arms,
Moving your shoulders and your legs,
Slowly moving your entire body.
You can open up your eyes.
You can close your eyes.
Thank you so much for being here.
I'd love to hear how you experience this meditation.
I recommend practicing this meditation for 14 days and I'd love to know the difference that it may bring for you as you connect more with your body and with your heart.
