Life can be busy and there are days when there is so much to be done. You don't have time to meditate, but still want to relax your nervous system. This guided breathing is for you, designed exactly for this kind of days. It is 1 minute breathwork + 1 minute explanation on how it works. I put the explanation at the end, so you may jump directly at the breathwork. I suggest you listen to the explanation, because this way it is the breathing giving the signal through your lungs to your brain, and at the same time the scientific information empowering that effect through your analytical mind.

Hello and welcome.

This is one minute of gentle breaths.

Starting on the exhale.

All the air out of your body.

Inhaling.

Exhaling.

Inhaling.

I'm feeling the good energy.

Exhaling.

Everything that doesn't soothe you.

Inhaling.

I'm feeling the love within you.

Exhaling.

Inhaling.

And exhaling.

Inhaling.

Feel the love.

And exhaling.

Releasing.

Inhaling.

And exhaling.

Now the purpose of this breathing is the sense of calmness and bringing you back into this moment and the reminder to come back into this very moment.

Since the inhales are further than the exhale,

This brings a signal of activation to our parasympathic nervous system which is responsible for our relaxation and calmness into this moment.

Do this every time you feel like you don't have time to meditate but you want to be reminded of the peace that comes with each breath.
