Angel wings,
Meditation for grief.
Make sure that you're comfortable and close your eyes.
Now focus on your breathing for a while.
If you notice that your breath is still a little high,
You can place a hand on your belly to help your breath get deeper and slower.
Breathe deeply and slowly,
Feeling more and more relaxed.
Now imagine that you're walking in nature.
Around you,
You see all the trees,
Plants and flowers that you love.
It feels comforting to walk here and to see all this beauty around you.
Walk slowly and peacefully,
Feeling how your feet touch the ground.
Feeling more and more grounded with every step you take.
Now take a deep breath in and when you breathe out,
You let go of all the tension that's in your body.
Now take another deep breath in and when you breathe out,
You let go of stress and worries.
Continue walking slowly and peacefully,
Breathing deeply and slowly.
And feel how your body relaxes more and more.
As you walk around in this beautiful place,
You feel the healing and loving energy of Mother Nature.
The trees,
The plants,
The flowers,
They're sending you love and healing energy.
You don't have to do anything,
Just be.
If thoughts come into your head,
That's okay.
Observe them and let them go.
It's now a moment to rest.
A moment of calm,
Just for you.
When you notice there's an angel walking with you,
You feel her loving energy.
It feels comforting to no longer walk alone.
Together you slowly walk and you're feeling the healing energy of the trees,
The plants and the flowers.
You feel the comforting presence of the angel.
After walking for a while,
You see a comfy sofa.
You and your angel sit down to rest.
When you're sitting there,
Your angel wraps her wings around you.
You breathe deeply.
You can relax now.
You've been through so much,
But now is the time to relax.
Let your angel comfort you with her healing wings.
Let her hold you and help you relax.
Breathe deeply and slowly.
Let go of all the tension in your body.
It's okay to feel sad.
You don't have to fight it.
You don't have to be ashamed of it.
It's okay.
Whatever you're feeling,
It's okay.
Just let it be.
Your angel is still holding you.
Wrapped in her wings,
You let go of any tension that's still in your body.
You don't have to hold on to it.
You can let go.
Breathe deeply and slowly,
Enjoying this healing hug of your angel.
After a while,
Both you and your angel get up and together you walk back through the forest.
You notice that you feel a little lighter.
Then it's time for your angel to go.
You say goodbye and you thank her for her comforting presence and her healing hug.
She replies,
I'm always here when you need me.
You need only ask and I'll be there,
Wrapping my healing wings around you.
Comforting you when you need it.
It's okay to ask for a hug.
It's okay to ask for help.
Don't be shy,
Not only with me,
But also with your friends and family.
Together you'll get through this.
I know you will.
Then your angel goes away,
But you know that you can see her again and feel her again,
Whenever you want.
If you need it,
Don't think you can do it alone,
But ask.
Your angel or someone else.
You don't have to be alone.
And now it's time to slowly come back to the here and now.
Back to the place where you're lying or sitting.
Slowly you start moving a little with your hands and with your feet.
