Welcome,
My name is Kinga.
I created this guided meditation to help you heal your inner child.
Please bring a big pillow and place it next to you before we start.
We will use it during the meditation.
To begin,
Settle into a seated position,
Elongate your spine,
Relax your shoulders and gently close your eyes.
Ground your attention into the surface beneath you,
May that be the chair,
The floor or something else and notice that you are supported,
Sense the energy of the space supporting you.
Notice the energy or presence of the surface holding you as well as that of the air surrounding you.
Now take a few long clearing breaths in any way that feels comfortable for you.
Invite your thoughts to soften with each exhale.
Continue to notice the natural flow of your breath for a few moments of silence.
Allow the breath to flow at its own depth and pace.
Each breath we take supports the body,
So each breath is like an act of love.
So I invite you to breathe with this awareness,
Letting each breath be an offering of love to your body.
As you inhale,
Feel a sense of love,
Compassion and kindness growing inside of you.
Feel it.
Breathe in love from the space around you and let it fill your heart.
Feel free to touch your heart area too,
Because wherever your attention goes is where your energy flows.
Feel the warmth of this loving energy filling you up.
Sense your whole body and every cell in your body becoming filled with love and light.
Now focus on your exhales and feel that with every exhale you radiate love.
Allow it to transcend the boundaries of your body.
See it forming a protective light bubble around you.
Rest in this gentle healing light and let your inner child emerge in the distance.
See this little you who probably needs you right now.
Call your inner child by the name you like the most and let them show up just the way they feel inside you right now.
Allow them to do anything.
Just follow them with your loving attention.
Be present and be loving.
Let them know that you are here.
Gift them with your attention.
It's okay if they want to throw a tantrum,
Want to rage or be angry.
It's okay for them to be anything right now.
Just watch them with love and without any judgement.
Say this to your inner child.
I see you.
I am here for you and I am watching over you.
I accept you and I love you just the way you are.
No matter what you do and how you do it.
In my eyes,
There is nothing you can do wrong.
Let them come to you when they feel like it.
Let them snuggle up to you or let them be sulking or raging.
Let anything happen.
Accept them with your loving attention regardless of what they do and wait until they approach you.
Once they do,
Offer to cuddle them with love.
Now grab the pillow next to you and embrace it like it was your inner child.
Feel the connection between you two.
Hear your hearts beating with the same rhythm and let both of you feel safe in this hug.
Tell your inner child.
You do not have to be anything or do anything other than being a child.
Stay and enjoy it.
Have fun,
Explore,
Laugh,
Learn and be silly.
You have nothing else to do right now.
Just being yourself,
Living your best life as a happy child.
Everything else is my job.
I am an adult and I can handle everything.
You do not have to deal with anything.
You do not have to carry any weight on your shoulders.
Just be you,
A happy,
Carefree child.
Let them heal through your love and caring words.
Hold them tight if they allow you.
Feel this loving energy in and around you and feel how your inner child is slowly calming down and feeling safer and safer in your embrace.
Now look at their little face and tell them the following.
I am always here for you.
I will protect you and love you.
I will never leave you.
From now on I will take care of you.
I love you just the way you are.
You are perfect just the way you are.
You are safe.
You are loved.
And I will never leave you.
I will never abandon you.
I am here for you no matter what.
You can count on me.
And now slowly let yourself merge with your inner child.
Become one.
But only at a pace they are comfortable with.
Do not rush anything.
Be okay with the pace they dictate.
Accept if they cannot or do not want to merge with you yet.
That's okay too.
Just allow anything to happen the way it feels comfortable for them.
Feel the connection.
Feel their emotions.
Hear their thoughts.
And let your hearts beat as one.
When you feel that both of you feel calm and at peace.
Both of you feel safe and loved.
It is now time to say goodbye.
But assure them that you will come back.
And you will always be here.
Anytime they need you.
Let the image of your inner child fade away.
Knowing that you can always return to heal them and yourself.
For a happier and more whole existence.
Whenever you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Feel the love being present in you.
And know that your inner child is safe and loved and taken care of.
And so are you.
