Come into a position where you feel both comfortable and alert.
You could be lying down or in a reclined position,
Sitting upright or perhaps you have your legs up the wall in an inversion.
Tune into your body and see if you can tell what it needs today.
As you settle in,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze,
Beginning to take this journey inward.
Start to breathe in through the nose and out through the nose.
Notice where you feel the movement of the breath the most.
Maybe it's the belly,
Maybe you can feel a lift in the chest or the shoulders,
Or a little breath on the edge of your nose.
As you breathe in,
Think inhale and as you breathe out,
Think exhale.
We'll add a count to this exercise and we'll also include the tapping of the tip of the thumb to the tip of the rest of the fingers.
Start with your right hand and think inhale as you breathe in,
Exhale as you breathe out,
And then tap thumb to index finger and count one.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Tap the thumb to the middle finger and count two.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Tap thumb to ring finger and count three.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Tap thumb to pinky finger and count four.
Continue to repeat this on the left hand and then the right hand,
Going back and forth at your own pace.
Now let go of the counting breaths exercise.
Allow your hands to relax and your breath to return to a normal rhythm.
Let's go deeper by considering the tarot card,
The nine of pentacles.
The nine of pentacles shows a well-dressed woman standing in a beautiful garden.
The clothes she wears are symbols of her wealth and status.
The vines behind her are heavy with grapes and golden coins representing her accomplishments.
This card reminds you to celebrate your journey.
You have already achieved so much and while you may not be at the finish line just yet,
This is your opportunity to acknowledge your achievements and re-energize yourself for the final phase.
Turn your focus inward and ask yourself,
How can I enjoy the fruits of my labor?
Sit with this question without trying to analyze or think and allow any answers to come up from deep within.
How can I enjoy the fruits of my labor?
As you practice tuning into your intuition,
You may notice that you don't always hear words.
You may have gotten images or impressions or even seemingly random thoughts or memories.
You may not have gotten anything at all.
Perhaps something will come up later.
Take the next few breaths just to process this experience.
Listen to the following affirmation,
Allow it to resonate within and repeat it to yourself.
I am grateful for the abundance that I have and the abundance that is on its way.
I am grateful for the abundance that I have and the abundance that is on its way.
As we reach the end of today's practice,
Bring the palms together at heart center,
Slightly bowing your head and take a moment to reflect on your experience.
Did you connect with your inner wisdom?
Did you practice listening and being open?
Allow this experience and any insights that you've gained to stay with you as you bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.
Take your time and when you're ready,
Open your eyes and allow your body any movement that it needs.
