Settle into a position where you feel both comfortable and alert.

This could be a seated position or you could be lying down or maybe you're propped up on a wall or cushion or sitting on your own couch.

Choose whatever shape works for you today.

This is your time and you do not have to meet anyone's expectations.

Once you settle in,

Close your eyes or soften your gaze and begin to take this journey inward.

Imagine a pillar of white light descending from the highest heavens,

Shining down on you and bringing a complete sense of peace and relaxation to your entire being.

As this light lands on your head,

You feel the tension in between the eyebrows start to melt away.

You can relax your jaw.

As the light travels to your shoulders,

You feel them melt away from the ears.

The light continues traveling down the arms and fingers,

Into the chest and belly,

Bringing a feeling of peace and stillness with it.

Imagine that light spreading into your hips,

Thighs,

Calves,

All the way down to your feet and removing all the tension along the way.

Take a moment to enjoy this feeling of peace and stillness.

Shift your focus to the breath,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the nose.

Notice the feeling of expansion in the belly and chest as you breathe in and that feeling of contraction and release as you exhale.

Now expand your awareness to your entire body by noticing sensations that you may be experiencing.

Keep the anchor of the breath by thinking inhale as you breathe in and exhale as you breathe out.

But after the exhale,

Note a sensation you're feeling in the body.

You may think inhale,

Exhale,

Lower back.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Elbow.

Letting go of each sensation after you note it,

Continuing with the breath and then noting a different sensation after the next exhale.

Release the focus on sensations,

But hold on to the peacefulness and stillness you've cultivated through this mindfulness practice.

These practices help us build more space in between the thoughts,

Allowing us to tap into our deeper selves.

And let's continue to go deeper by considering a question that is inspired by the planet Jupiter.

Jupiter is a huge gas giant,

Two and a half times the volume of all the other planets put together.

It has 79 moons.

Jupiter doesn't do anything small.

Jupiter encourages us to think bigger,

To think globally,

To consider traveling either physically or even with your senses through music and food.

It encourages us to talk to people who have different perspectives than we do.

And most importantly,

To engage in abundant optimism.

So as you begin to take in the vibes of Jupiter,

Turn your focus inward and ask yourself,

How can I expand my perspective?

Sit with this question without trying to analyze or think,

Just allowing any answers to come up from deep within.

How can I expand my perspective?

Hello.

♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ As you practice bypassing the thoughts and listening to your deeper wisdom,

You may notice that you don't always hear words.

During these exercises,

You may get images,

Impressions,

Maybe random thoughts or memories,

But anything that came up could have meaning.

Take a few breaths to process what came up for you and consider if you want to act on anything that you learned.

♪♪ Listen to the following affirmation and whether you feel it's true or not for you at this time.

Repeat it to yourself,

Letting it resonate deep within.

I push limits and get the most out of life.

I push limits and get the most out of life.

♪♪ As we reach the end of today's practice,

Bring the palms together at heart center,

Slightly bowing your head,

And take a moment to reflect on this experience.

Were you able to connect with your inner wisdom?

Did you practice listening and being open?

♪♪ Allowing this experience and any insights you've gained to stay with you,

Bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.

Take your time and when you're ready,

Open your eyes and allow your body any movement that it needs.

Thanks for this, I will do this meditation on Thursdays (ruler of Jupiter) and on any day during the time of Jupiter. Check out the free app, Planetary Times. It gives the times of the sun, moon, and each planet. It explains what's best to focus on at those times, awesome! #LoveAndLight🙏🏾 🌌 ✨️🥰
