In this meditation,

I hope to help you find a greater sense of peace.

So often we can find ourselves feeling overwhelmed and confused by the messages we receive.

Our peace gets buried beneath the weight of fear,

Stress,

Frustration,

Sadness or despair.

My hope for you is that this practice will teach you how to gently release your attachment to those thoughts and feelings and remember that you are an infinite soul whose natural state is calm,

Loving awareness.

To begin,

Find a comfortable position to sit in and gently close your eyes.

Now begin to notice what your body is feeling.

You may be carrying tension in your temples,

Your neck or shoulders,

Your back or your gut.

There's nothing wrong with these feelings for now,

Just notice them.

You can even thank your body for holding them for you and making you aware.

Now anchor yourself in this present moment with your breath.

Place all of your attention on breathing fully in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.

And it relaxes you and arouses your inner darkness.

Here you are,

My love.

Here you are.

You're here now.

With each in-breath,

Begin to imagine the peace of God or the universe flowing in through the crown of your head.

As you breathe in,

Let that peace fill your body,

Sending it especially to the tense and tight spaces you noticed earlier.

As you breathe out,

Imagine all of your fears and worries being washed away down your spine,

Which extends like the root of a tree deep into the earth.

Infinite peace in,

Like a stream of light washing fear out.

Breathe in as long and fully as you need to,

And slowly exhale to release.

Continue this now.

Peace is slowly returning now,

And as it does,

You recognize that this is who you truly are.

You are the peaceful observer,

Gently holding space for emotions as they arise and watching them flow by like leaves on a stream.

When life feels overwhelming,

You need only remember this.

Loved the words, beautiful voice and background sounds. As a long time broadcaster, one )I hope helpful and lovingly intended!) suggestion would be to record in a walk in closet full of clothes. I could hear the reverberation of sound off hard walls so it sounded a bit like it was recorded in a tunnel. :) nice meditation though!

One of my all-time favourite meditations on IT. The sounds, voice and content are all beautiful. I would just wish for no abrupt cut-off at end. Namaste Kendra πŸ’œπŸŒΈπŸŒΏπŸ•Š
