So take a moment,
Get comfortable,
Either seated or laying down,
Or anything else that feels good and supportive for you right now.
Now take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and let it out with a sigh through your mouth.
And notice the weight of your body being supported by the ground or the chair,
Whatever surface is beneath you.
Just give yourself permission to pause,
To fully arrive in this moment.
And just remind yourself,
There's nothing I need to fix,
I can just simply be here as I am.
Bringing your awareness to your breath,
Feeling its natural rhythm flowing in and out of your body.
Notice how the inhale fills you up and how the exhale releases what you no longer need.
Inhale filling you up,
Exhaling releasing.
And noticing once again those points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Grounding down,
Rooting through these points,
Letting them anchor you in the moment.
As the muscles soften and tension begins to leave your body,
Let the muscles release,
Tension soften.
And just let yourself be for a moment.
Inhaling,
Telling yourself,
I'm doing the best I can.
And exhaling,
That is enough.
Inhaling,
I'm doing the best that I can.
And exhaling,
And that is enough.
Continuing with this.
Inhaling,
I'm doing the best I can.
Exhaling,
And that is enough.
Continue to repeat this,
Either in your mind or out loud if you'd prefer.
And if your mind resists,
That's okay.
Just continue to say it.
You don't need to convince yourself or force any belief.
You're just simply planting this seed of compassion.
Inhaling,
I'm doing the best I can.
And exhaling,
And that is enough.
Just bringing to mind all that you've probably done today already.
Maybe it's the invisible work,
The tasks that no one sees,
The quiet ways that you've cared for others,
Or things that you've done internally.
Things you've checked off your to-do list.
The way that you showed up.
And telling yourself again,
I'm doing the best I can,
And that is enough.
Because it truly is.
The person you are,
The way you're showing up.
That is all enough,
And you absolutely are doing the best that you can.
And that is plenty.
Give yourself some time.
Give yourself some compassion.
Knowing that if anyone else were doing even half of what you were doing,
You would think,
Wow,
They're doing so much.
They're doing incredible.
So give yourself a little bit of that kindness in return.
Inhaling,
I'm doing the best that I can.
And exhaling,
And that is enough.
Give yourself this kindness.
Give yourself these moments of peace.
Knowing that you really are doing the best that you can.
And that is plenty.
And then together,
We'll take a big,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Bringing in that kindness and compassion for yourself.
And exhaling,
Letting any judgment,
Any self-criticism go.
Bringing yourself back to the moment and back to your body.
Continuing on with your day,
Knowing that you truly are doing the best that you can.
And that is enough.
Thank you for joining me today.
