Hello and welcome to this recording.
Before we begin,
Find a place where you are completely undisturbed.
Take a comfortable position and,
Whenever you like,
Close your eyes.
Now breathe in deeply until your lungs are full of clean air and then exhale very slowly and deeply.
Now even more slowly in and then let the air out through your mouth.
Repeat a few times until you feel completely relaxed.
You can also imagine you are breathing in calm and relaxation and breathing out all the tension.
With the calm,
Your imagination is also allowed to unfold.
Imagine you are in a tent on the edge of the rainforest.
Early morning dawns and your tour group decides to continue on your way.
The destination is Machu Picchu in southern Peru.
In the times long past,
This place was the citadel of the Inca Empire.
It is also called the city above the clouds.
Upon your arrival,
You will discover the remains of an advanced civilization with its multifaceted past.
But also the way offers enough beauties which may penetrate into your consciousness.
A path leads into the rainforest,
Sunlight falls through the canopy.
Up on the trees live different kinds of birds.
Blue and yellow parrots chirp and swoosh above you.
Their song interweaves with the melody of nature.
You catch sight of more and more exotic species of animals and plants.
Now and then you pass clearings with flower meadows,
Roses and lilies,
Sunflowers and violets.
Their scent wafts through the air.
You stop again and again to take the scents into your heart and soul.
The texture of the petals is soft.
Dewdrops beat down from them and seep into the ground.
The soft ground is covered with fallen leaves and twigs.
With each of your steps,
You become aware of a slight crunching sound.
As you continue to walk through the rainforest,
The sun makes it arching way across the sky.
The ground is adorned with changing place of light and shadow,
A kaleidoscope of tremendous beauty.
Every now and then,
A fresh breeze comes up,
Shaking the treetops.
The branches sway rhythmically in the wind.
Watch the leaves fall.
The air is filled with the smells of the rainforest.
A small stream bends along the forest floor.
It is flanked by trees that cast their shadows on the water.
It foams and bubbles,
Like music that plays incessantly,
A gentle melody that makes the rainforest come alive.
You and your group decide to take a little break.
One or the other takes off his shoes and stands knee-deep in the water.
The cooling seems to come in handy for many.
Nearby you find a boulder in the creek bank.
If you like,
You too decide to take off your clothes and dip your feet into the creek.
Feel the cold and pleasant water.
The freshness,
How it cleanses and washes around everything.
Just notice.
Enjoy the moment.
You may also want to lie down on the rock.
Breathe deeply a few times.
In and out.
In again and out.
Feel a deep peace.
And also feel how relaxed are your muscles.
Your left arm.
Your right leg.
Your left leg and right arm.
Neck.
Jaw and forehead.
Allow yourself some relaxation.
You are in the here and now.
After enjoying the silence of the stream,
You and your tour group have lunch.
Then it's time to continue on the trail.
After a long walk,
Another sight awaits you.
Come upon a waterfall as you gaze upon it.
So let your imagination run wild.
Imagine the waterfalls and streams that dominate the rainforest.
Tumbling cascades of water hidden in the depths of the mountains,
Hills and valleys.
They are perpetual forces.
An elevation in the course of the streams,
Nature's expression of finding a way.
To keep flowing,
To keep moving,
Waterfalls embody the meaning of disruption,
Of interruption,
And of returning to the stream.
They show us that change is necessary to reach a goal.
When you look at the great rivers from a distance,
It seems as if they have never experienced turbulence.
As if they have flowed smoothly and uninterruptedly.
But as soon as you follow the way,
Attentively and not only superficially,
If you disregard the bird's eye view,
You can see that every waterfall makes possible the way from the source to the sea.
And so it is with our lives.
With each bump,
Each fall,
We emerge as new versions of ourselves,
As honored souls able to better navigate our lives.
These moments,
Such waterfalls draw us,
Just as they draw nature.
Masses of water cascade down and fall on the rocks at the foot of the waterfall,
Weaving soothing sounds.
The sounds breathe a misty life into the forest,
Give the soul a sound.
It is a mystical atmosphere.
When all trees rise from the rocks and weave themselves into a web of life.
The waterfall hums as an integral part of the forest orchestra.
Sherping nightingales flutter nearby to dip their beaks in water for refreshment.
The brook also gurgles,
Creating a gentle melody.
The tiny drops of water gather and combine their power to shape the hard rocks to grind their rough edges to smooth them.
The rush forms a trance that wafts through the wind like a fragrance.
The waterfall's songs are softly muted,
So perfectly pitched,
As if the forest were gorgling melodically.
He breathes the thin wisps of mist that layer on top of each other,
Swirling around,
Filling the air with a pleasant coolness.
You awaken from your thoughts to see that night is falling.
Your travel group decides to set up a camp near the waterfalls.
The air is pleasantly cool and you put on warm clothes.
Around a campfire the travelers told heartwarming and captivating stories.
Water resounds in the humid air and the waterfall continues to play its melodies.
The sounds make you tired.
They lull you into a gentle slumber.
Already tomorrow you experience the beauties of Machu Picchu.
After a restful night,
Your group sets off into the mountains.
The forest and its gnarled trees give way until vast landscapes open up.
The citadel of Machu Picchu soon becomes visible.
You recognize the steps on the slopes that were used for agriculture,
The rest is and the clouds that wander through the monuments.
As you stride up the mountains you see forests below you stretching to the horizon.
The temperature slowly drops and your breath forms small clouds in the air.
Your clothes keep you comfortably warm.
The hilly landscape always offers new beauties and surprises.
Now and then you see lakes.
Their water is crystal clear.
The blue sky shimmers down on them.
It seems as if they hold a mirror up to him.
Further and further the path leads you.
Finally you reach the citadel of Machu Picchu.
The remains of a glorious past overlook the lush greenery.
Like an island rising into the sky,
The citadel stands amidst an ocean of green.
The guides lead you through the monuments,
Explaining what they looked like in their heyday.
As you listen to them your imagination opens.
Perhaps you imagine what it would be like to live here,
To look through the windows and watch the clouds mingling with the mists around the mountains.
How magical it must be to wake up in a city above the clouds.
Maybe the feeling of strength enters your consciousness.
Dwell in this moment.
Feel deep peace and connection.
You're safe and at peace.
The untouched nature,
Wide valleys,
The power of the citadel glide over into feelings of harmony.
Let them spread.
As the night falls your group decides to find a place to rest.
A grassy plateau stretches out some distance away.
You set up a camp and have a snack.
Feelings of gratitude,
Safety and peace spread.
But also exhaustion sets in.
Your body becomes pleasantly heavy.
Finally you retire to your tent.
Take the feelings and impressions with you into your sleep.
The strength and security,
A small thought is enough and slowly soothing heaviness spreads.
Rest,
Feel the relief.
Now you may relax completely.
Just enjoy,
Perceive,
Sink deeper and deeper,
Glide further and relax.
You're completely sheltered and protected.
Relax your muscles.
Feel a gentle wave as it flows over your legs,
Into your arms and hands.
A current of tiredness.
You sink deeper,
Further and further,
All by yourself.
You dream of vast landscapes.
The power of magical places,
Inner strength and deep rest fall asleep.
Rest and released you enter wonderful dreams.
St You.
