So today we're reading from the Radiant Sutras,
A translation of the Vijnana by Rava Tantra by Lauren Roche.
If you're new,
I'm gonna read this sutra.
And the idea is to listen to it from our greatest self.
And I don't mean best self,
I mean our biggest self.
If you closed your eyes and you imagined all of your chakras beaming out into the universe,
And you are this radiant being connected to every atom in the universe.
And yet we're here on earth being human,
Having a human experience,
But we are also this infinite being.
And our brain allows us to have this incarnation.
It allows me to say to you,
My name is Katrina Boss.
I've been on earth for 53 years.
I live in Goddard,
Ontario.
My brain records whatever my ego in the best way is,
And it's what defines each of us in very different ways.
I am taking care of my son's puppy.
I love to read about tantra.
These are sort of who I am,
This is my brain.
But I'm actually not Katrina Boss.
I'm actually all of you and everyone and all that.
You know what I mean?
That's beyond our brain.
That's beyond what we can conceptualize on purpose.
Otherwise,
How are we ever gonna have our human experience if we constantly think we're the cosmos?
We're gonna forget to eat.
And we're gonna not realize that tiramisu is delicious and sex is fun and walking in the snow is like,
You know what I mean?
Like,
So it's important that we have this limited perspective also.
But what's interesting about tantra is the goal is to blend them.
How do we bring this cosmic reality into eating breakfast,
Reading a book,
Making love,
Going to work,
Sitting in traffic,
Chatting with our friends?
How do we do both?
So one of the fun things to do is with a sutra like this is to sort of close our eyes and release our personality.
I am not Katrina Boss.
I do not have a tantra.
I do not have a tantra.
I do not live in Gottridge,
Ontario.
I am not 53 years old.
I am all things.
And in that space,
We listen to this and see what comes up that wants to nourish who we are.
So let's just close our eyes for a minute.
And let's just breathe deeply and just let any thoughts that we were just having,
You know,
Whether about the conversation or whether,
About whatever's going on in your life,
Let's just let that go and just breathe deeply into that cosmic aspect of you,
That infinite aspect of you.
And let's hear what this sutra has to say.
Let your attention glide through the centers of awareness along the spine with adoring intent.
There is a song to each area of the body resonating in sweet vortices,
Long rhythmic vowels and hums,
Ah and ee and om and hmm,
Resounding on and on.
Find the harmonies emanating from the circulation of life energies.
Listen to these sounds,
Then more subtly as an underlying hum,
Eventually as most subtle feeling,
Then diving more deeply,
Dissolve into freedom.
If it's sort of a lot of words,
We will discuss it.
Let your attention glide through the centers of awareness along the spine with adoring intent.
There is a song to each area of the body resonating in sweet vortices,
Long rhythmic vowels and hums,
Ah and ee,
Om,
Hmm,
Hmm,
Resounding on and on.
Find the harmonies emanating from the circulation of life energies.
Listen to these as sounds,
Then more subtly as an underlying hum,
Eventually as the most subtle feeling,
Then diving more deeply and dissolve into freedom.
What feeling rises inside of you when you hear that?
Or what words stand out for you?
Finding freedom through the songs of the chakras,
Energetic flow.
Love this dissolving into freedom.
Let your attention glide with adoring intent,
The most subtle feeling,
Such a richness and almost like a sigh of release to being fully home in my being.
Vibrations in my body that become softer and then completely integrated.
My body is the sound of the universe,
The songs of the body.
Listen deep within to hear the universe sing.
You know what's funny?
My friend Nelda,
She never listens to music.
She never has music playing in her house because she hears music in the universe and that's what she wants to listen to.
I think she's been living in the fifth dimension,
Sixth dimension for a long time,
For as long as I've known her.
So I want to talk about a few angles about this sutra and then we'll go back and we'll read it again.
So when they talk about the sounds of the chakras,
There's a lot of different ideas about this.
Some say that the first chakra,
The sound is lam,
The second chakra,
The sound is ram,
The third chakra is yam and they kind of go through the chakras.
And the truth is,
I would love to do a meditation like that with you guys,
Even in this talk.
But the truth is,
I don't understand that and just in full disclosure,
These aren't sounds that I understand.
It doesn't ring for me.
I'm not saying it isn't true,
But if you wanted to go deeper into it,
There are a lot of interesting meditations that do use this ram,
Lam,
Yam,
Yam,
Yam,
Yam,
Yam,
You know,
These sounds of the chakras.
But I personally haven't done the research and had the experience to be able to blend those into the sounds of the chakras.
And I find that they blend into life.
Like they seem separate.
They seem something out there that I would learn from a teacher that had a completely different understanding or a different consciousness than I have.
So I don't like talking about things I don't deeply understand,
But that's one interpretation of the sounds of the chakras and the ram,
Lam thing.
And the other interesting thing about it is on the one hand,
People will just chant them.
We could do that.
We could have a meditation where we sit and we go through the chakras,
Ram,
Lam.
But again,
Personally,
I don't feel it in the chakras,
Which makes me think I'm missing something.
I feel like I'm missing some important information about it or important context.
And the other interesting thing is by the same token,
They will say it's important to explore the mantra of each chakra individually because we have a habit in the West,
In the Western mind,
Wherever we live,
That we want everything right away.
So we say,
Okay,
I wanna open all my chakras right now.
I'm sick of being in pain.
I'm sick of having struggles.
I'm sick of all this interface.
Like I wanna just be happy now.
So we say,
Okay,
I'm gonna sit down and I'm gonna chant the sounds of every chakra.
And then that way they'll all open.
And maybe that's a great idea.
I'm not saying it's not.
It might be perfect.
And it might be perfect for one person and not perfect for another.
I don't know.
But what's interesting is I'm gonna read you another translation of this sutra.
The 12 centers,
The chakras,
The 12 centers should be pierced successively through proper understanding of their associated 12 letters,
Thus becoming liberated from the gross,
Then the subtle,
One by one at the end of its journey,
The Kundalini becomes Shiva.
The 12 centers should be pierced successively through the proper understanding of their associated 12 letters.
I don't know what they mean by letters.
Thus becoming liberated from the gross,
Then the subtle,
One by one,
And at the end of its journey,
The Kundalini becomes Shiva.
What's interesting to me about that is if you imagine,
So first of all,
What they're talking about is our oneness is the Shiva Shakti.
So if you imagine we are part of that oneness,
Part of that galactic,
Part of that galactic reality we were talking about,
Right?
We are,
We are everything in the universe right now.
Sorry,
I keep having the genie from Aladdin's lamp in my head every time I say,
We are galactic space,
Great infinite power,
Tiny living space.
Something keeps rolling through my head every time I say that and I'm like,
So the idea that we are oneness and the theory,
Like the context of a lot of these teachings is that Shiva is the masculine energy,
Consciousness,
Whatever,
And this is not gendered.
The feminine energy,
The manifest is Shakti or the energy of Kundalini.
And in order for us to hold form here on earth,
Like,
And it's really interesting when you think of it,
We're just energy and this isn't a flaky hippie idea,
Like under an electron microscope,
We are just energy being held together,
But not really by magnetism.
This is an illusion of some flavor,
Not that we ignore it,
But it's not,
It's this idea that we are this infinite energy and that the feminine and the masculine separate and the feminine,
The Shakti,
The Kundalini manifests as form and the Shiva sits at the crown,
Still connected to the cosmos,
But sort of supporting the feminine manifestation.
So as the Kundalini,
As Shakti makes her way up through all the chakras,
Eventually Kundalini becomes one with Shiva and we experience bliss.
And again,
Because of our Western mind,
We're like,
Oh good,
Oh,
And then we go and we plan a weekend retreat and we charge everybody $5,
000 to come to pierce all the chakras and have an enlightened experience.
And then of course,
This is where things like Kundalini Yoga get a bad rap because all of a sudden people are having these psychic breaks and they can't keep a job and they're completely messed up because they've done these weird,
Extreme things.
To speed up a process that I question,
I wonder,
I leave this to us as a discussion.
I kind of wonder if the journey of piercing the chakras with the Kundalini,
That is the journey of life.
What if there's no hurry?
What if there's no hurry to have them all awakened all at once?
It's almost like sometimes in the spiritual community,
We want to become enlightened and then live our life or something.
You know what I mean?
I don't want to live through all this junk.
I don't want to have all this stuff in my inner face.
I don't want to have all these second chakra issues and everything.
But what if that's why we're here?
What if that's why we've incarnated?
What if the point isn't to suffer?
That's not what I believe.
But what if the point is this journey?
And so first,
We go into the first chakra.
And we've talked a lot about this,
That if we look at the chakra 2.
0 series or the chakra 3.
0 series,
We look at the first chakra in the gross.
So gross isn't like gross,
Like disgusting.
Gross is heavy,
Physical.
If you take water and you heat it up,
It becomes water,
Vapor.
It becomes lighter as it becomes more subtle.
And as the temperature drops,
It suddenly becomes condensation.
Then it becomes water.
Then it becomes snow.
Then it becomes ice,
Right?
It becomes heavier.
It becomes grosser.
That's all gross means.
So in many ways,
If we are in our first chakra and we're in the gross aspects of it,
What are we concerned about?
We're concerned about security.
We're concerned that I have enough food to eat.
We're concerned that I'm safe,
That no one's gonna hurt me or hurt my children or hurt my family.
And these are really important things.
These aren't dysfunctions.
These are important things.
This is survival.
This is,
Imagine if you were in the woods,
It's really important to know that you know where the water is and you know where you can shield yourself from the elements.
You wanna hear a funny story about that?
So we were talking about storm.
I'm taking care of my son's puppy who is a husky puppy.
And huskies are famous for being northern dogs,
Like in the snow.
And my sister,
Kristen,
She wrote a story about this guy who's,
I don't know if he was living in the Yukon or up in Alaska.
I don't know where he was,
But he was way,
Way up north where it was like minus 50.
Like it was so,
So incredibly cold.
And he sees all these huskies out there in this bitter cold,
Like just not fit for man or beast.
So he decides to go and buy them all these kennels,
Like all these cages.
So he puts these cages outside of his little hut or his home or whatever,
Puts these blankets over it so the huskies would have a place to get away from the elements.
So he's all happy and he figures these wild huskies will all just come in because they were all feral,
Like they weren't anyone's dogs.
And he got up in the morning feeling all awesome.
He walks out and on top of every single kennel was a husky sitting on top of it.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
These dogs are made for bitter cold weather.
But this idea of protecting ourselves is a gross element of the first chakra.
This is really important.
This is not dysfunction.
If you have children to feed,
If you have food,
If you need food,
If you need shelter,
This is really important.
This is not unspiritual to be concerned about this.
So in that reality,
We are completely wrapped up in the gross elements of the first chakra.
Well,
What's interesting is one of the,
In the back of this book,
The Radiant Sutras,
Lauren has this focus.
And the focus that you can look at for this verse is called mukta.
I assume it has something to do with moksha,
Like it's all from the same root or something,
Of freedom,
Of liberation.
And so as we progress through the chakras,
We experience liberation in each chakra.
We experience freedom.
Because let's say if we're in the first chakra,
If we're concerned about where we're living,
There's no freedom there.
We have to find shelter.
Wherever we live,
We have to make sure we're safe.
This is really important.
So there's no freedom until it's found.
So let's say you go through life and you start to realize,
Okay,
Well,
I'm good.
I have enough money.
I have a home.
I have enough food.
It's a whole other thing when advertising and society and,
I don't know,
Marketing agencies try to tell you that you need much more than you actually require.
That creates a false issue in the first chakra.
But if you have enough,
What happens?
There's a release in the first chakra.
You're not gonna be stressed out there.
You're not gonna have this heavy focus on am I safe,
Do I have food?
You're not gonna make choices in relationships or anything based on a first chakra need for security.
Lots of people make relationship choices based in the first chakra because they're afraid of not having enough money.
They're afraid that they won't be able to live,
Whatever,
Right?
So lots of us stay in relationships because we still have that gross element in the first chakra.
But let's say you get to the point where you've figured that out in this life,
In this incarnation,
There's a freedom.
And what do you start to feel instead in the first chakra?
We start to feel abundance,
Joy,
Happiness that we are here,
Waking up in your own bed and there's food in the cupboard and fire in the hearth,
However you wanna call it.
Fire in the hearth,
However you wanna see it.
There's a joy in the first chakra and that kundalini has pierced the first chakra and there's liberation.
Like what a beautiful journey that would be in the first chakra from fear,
Concern,
All that to a feeling of abundance.
We don't wanna speed that up.
Can you imagine if you did a process,
Even chanting a mantra,
And again,
I'm not saying you shouldn't chant mantras,
I'm not trained enough in that to even give a proper opinion,
Which is why I don't really play much in that world.
But what a powerful journey.
And this is where I wonder,
Is that the point?
That we're not supposed to be driving ourselves to open every chakra.
We're supposed to enjoy the journey.
We're supposed to enjoy the journey through the first chakra.
What about affirmations and practicing those daily?
Do I think that works?
I did a talk on here called Toxic Positivity.
It was around the idea of affirmations,
Because on the one hand,
I don't think they work.
And this is only my opinion.
In no way do I think I'm right.
It's just in my experience,
Many affirmations just don't feel true for me.
And to say something that I don't feel is true is like I'm denying that gross aspect of that chakra.
Do you know what I mean?
Like if I'm in a relationship and they're really not safe people,
Emotionally,
Mentally,
Spiritually,
But I just keep repeating an affirmation that I'm strong enough and I can do this and there's the good in all people or whatever,
I may be wrong.
I may be ignoring something really important that I should be actually making great changes about.
And then in the same token,
There are phrases I use.
Like if I am afraid I don't have enough time in the day,
I love,
And maybe it's not an affirmation,
Maybe it's a mantra,
Maybe I don't know what this is,
I will say there is more than enough time to get everything done that I need.
Because it's like that is like a truth of the universe that I'm trying to expand into.
Do you know what I mean?
That there's something about that that really expands me.
Maybe an affirmation might be I am an epic person.
Deep down,
You kind of don't think that because you have issues and you had a difficult childhood and you've had a hard time or maybe you don't look like a Barbie doll or whatever.
And so you don't really believe it.
But every time you look in the mirror and you say I am an epic person,
That's a worthwhile thing to think because it's true.
Every single one of us is epic.
So I don't know if I think affirmations work.
They really have to resonate with you.
It has to be very intentional.
I think that's my best answer.
That if it really rings for you,
And when you do it,
You feel different.
When I say there is more than enough time to get everything done,
Fears drop out of my system and time bends and I get everything done.
And that's intriguing to me.
It's that whole,
I do believe there is magic in the world.
I don't think we're just bumbling neurons based in Newtonian physics.
I think the world is very interesting.
And what they call magic,
I think is extremely natural and normal.
And they say we can put spells on ourselves with words,
Good and bad.
So,
I think that's a good thing.
And I think that's a good thing.
Good and bad.
So,
It's a great question.
So now imagine,
Let's say we've pierced through the first chakra,
And we've really come to this place of freedom in the first chakra.
And now we start exploring the second chakra,
Relationships,
How we relate to each other.
And the second aspect of course is,
It's like what we were talking about earlier,
When you say something to me and I take it personally.
Well,
That's an issue in the second chakra.
That's part of the gross aspect.
Because on the one hand,
We are mirrors of each other.
Humans are social creatures.
So we learn about ourselves based on how other humans interact with us.
And that's normal.
Again,
This isn't a dysfunction.
That's how we understand how we fit together.
It's the same thing as a pack of dogs.
They have to interact with each other to figure out how they fit together.
They have to interact with each other to figure out how they hunt together.
They have to interact with each other to figure out who the leader is.
So the interacting with each other is really important.
But there's something amok again,
That goes into from the shadow world or whatever,
That we take it personally,
And it becomes a self-worth issue and all these other things.
But it's really easy to get caught in that he said,
She said,
The drama triangles,
All these kind of things in the second chakra.
What a journey it is to go from the drama of the second chakra to freedom in the second chakra.
To actually get to the point where we've had enough relationships,
We've interacted with enough people,
Or the same people enough times,
And we've actually brought our new self every time.
That interacting with people doesn't stress us out anymore.
We don't feel obligation.
We don't feel hurt if someone doesn't like something about us.
That's about them.
We fully interact with others,
But it doesn't hurt us.
Just think of the depth of that journey of the second chakra.
That's epic.
That's an epic journey,
Just that chakra.
And then if you imagine the third chakra,
Third chakra,
Who we are as people,
What's my mission?
What makes the 132 people here each brilliantly unique?
No matter how we may judge ourselves in this moment,
No matter how we judge the decisions we've made,
The people we're with,
Our reactions,
Whatever,
However we judge ourselves,
It's just a judgment.
It's 100% a story we're telling ourselves about our current situation.
It has nothing to do with reality.
Every person here is a brilliant,
Unique creation,
Period.
Doesn't matter whether we look like we're slugging through a valley of termites or something,
Or we're climbing the top of a mountain.
They're both equal journeys.
But because the curiosity's in the world,
It's a bit of a challenge to figure out who we are.
In the third chakra,
In a world where we're sort of taught that,
Oh,
Well,
The doctors,
To become a doctor,
That's the best third chakra assignment.
The worst third chakra assignment is whatever.
And now we have all these battles trying to even figure out what do I like?
Who am I?
This is all the gross aspects of,
Well,
Do I like to fish?
Do I like to make shoes?
Do I like to take care of animals?
Do I like to,
What is it?
What is my,
So we're still all caught up in it.
And then we start to discover what we love.
We start to discover the things we're gifted in,
The things that we're really amazing at.
And they're easy,
And they're joyful.
And then we start to realize that the things that are easy and joyful,
Those are the things we were designed for.
That's why they're easy and joyful.
And all of a sudden,
Liberation happens in our third chakra because we realize we don't have to try so hard.
And it doesn't matter what you think of me.
You're not doing my assignment.
I am.
This is my life that I'm doing.
It has nothing to do with you and your assignment.
And a freedom rises,
And we just enjoy being who we are.
And so as I was preparing for our class today,
And I was thinking about this,
I was thinking,
What if that's the journey?
What if there's no hurry?
What an exciting journey it is from caring what everyone else thinks we should be to finding out what we really love,
And then just exploring that.
Why would we wanna rush into the fourth chakra when that is such a juicy journey?
So it's just a very interesting thing because on the one hand,
It's almost like an ego thing that we all wanna be the Buddha or something,
But we end up skipping steps,
And then we don't really have a foundation to even jump into the next chakra.
And for me,
That takes all the pressure off.
It just takes all the pressure off,
Having to be perfect,
Having to find the perfect job this time.
Well,
What if you're changing jobs,
And you don't know what the next job's gonna be?
What if it doesn't matter?
It's just a step on the journey.
We don't have to find our forever job.
We don't have to find the perfect thing right now.
We could do anything,
And then we could do anything else,
And then we could do anything else.
There's no hurry.
That's like my big takeaway from this whole verse is,
Wow,
We can just relax.
Ha ha ha ha.
Does anyone have any questions about that or thoughts before we close our eyes and hear it again?
Can you really relax?
I think so.
I mean,
I'm just rolling it around in my mind,
Because I've never really thought about it like that until I was just putting this together,
Thinking,
Well,
That'd be a joyful existence,
Wouldn't it?
Like,
And who's to say?
Because the interesting thing about this merging of the Shiva and Shakti together,
It's like the end of the journey.
Why are we in such a hurry to get to the end of our journey?
There's a lot of juicy things to experience along the way here.
So let's do a little meditation.
When I ask myself what my dream job is,
What I get is I want to play,
Right?
How fun is that?
Like a pole vaulter must be relaxed alongside full exertion for the jump.
Yes,
Totally.
And again,
It's such a curiosity that we've been taught that we're supposed to be stressed out.
And that somehow being stressed out makes us better or more serious or,
I don't know,
Smarter.
Like there must be some ego stuff attached to it.
There must be some ego description in there that,
I don't know,
Eggs us on,
Because it certainly isn't about having fun.
Being stressed means I care,
Totally.
That is a huge training,
Eh?
And that I'm important,
Because I'm stressed out,
Very important.
I'm very connected.
And then adds society and the way we are pushed to consume more and more,
Totally.
It gives us significance,
Yeah.
But does it?
Does it really?
I don't think it does.
But that is,
That's the mantra.
And it's interesting,
Because the discussion about affirmations,
I love an affirmation that negates a mantra like that in a way that is uplifting.
I don't know.
And again,
My opinions on affirmations,
It's not my thing.
And so it doesn't mean they're wrong.
There may be people out there who are genius at crafting these.
That's just not how my mind works,
That's all.
Hurry up and wait,
Right?
It's our whole life.
It's that whole idea,
Even that when you're a kid,
All you wanna do is be a teenager,
And then you're a teenager,
And all you wanna do is be a teenager,
And all you wanna do is be as an adult,
And then you're an adult and you have children,
And all you wanna do is for the kids to grow up.
Like there's no end.
And then all you wanna do is retire.
And then all you want,
Like what?
Like we never get to just be here and chillax.
All right,
We're just gonna do a really short little meditation.
And then I'm gonna read this in Sanskrit and then English.
So let's close our eyes.
Whether you're sitting,
Lying down on a bed,
Or in the tub,
Or wherever you are right now.
Let's just close our eyes and breathe deeply.
Expanding the belly as we inhale,
Retracting as we exhale.
On your next inhale,
Allowing the belly to expand,
The ribs to expand,
And the upper chest to expand.
Exhaling,
Releasing all of them at the same time.
Really releasing our mind and coming into our body,
Coming into the breath.
And I want you to allow your attention to flow around where you're sitting.
Imagine your first chakra,
The point between your sex organs and anus,
The perineum.
But imagine it like a swirling disc that maybe is your whole bottom.
And feel this energy flowing,
Maybe like a galaxy.
And feel freedom there,
Whatever that is for you.
Whatever that is for you,
Believing that the world is abundant.
There is everything I need here.
I am safe here.
I'm happy to be here.
And just feel the lightness,
Even if it's not necessarily normally part of your reality.
Imagine feeling freedom swirling as your first chakra.
And then moving up a few inches,
Imagine this swirling just below your navel in the second chakra.
And imagine yourself walking through life in total freedom as you interact with other people.
Whether it's the cashier at the store,
Family,
Friends.
Picture yourself,
This monk-like,
Joyful soul.
Or you're just intrigued with everyone,
Intrigued with these humans we get to interact with.
And you breathe deeply.
And you just experience everyone around.
And it flows through you,
And you smile,
And play games,
And chat,
And do great things.
And then flowing up a few more inches above the navel in the solar plexus area.
Imagine the freedom of just being exactly who you would love to be.
Whatever that is,
Imagining hobbies you love.
Whether you love being one-on-one with people,
Whether you love being in groups,
Whether you love being outside,
Do you love being inside?
Do you love to sing?
Do you love to read?
What do you love to do?
And feel this freedom in the third chakra.
And feel this freedom in the third chakra.
Then moving up into the heart center.
And just feeling your heart explode with love.
Just think of everything you love.
Chocolate,
It's always chocolate for me.
Sunshine,
Ocean waves,
Flowers,
The smell of lilacs,
Puppies,
Kittens,
Rain,
Snow,
And just feel this love energy flowing out of your heart chakra.
Total freedom to just live in this love space.
And flowing up into your throat chakra.
And that when you want to express yourself,
You just share.
And it's easy.
It's not loaded.
You just talk.
Other people talk.
Maybe you dance,
Maybe you write,
Maybe you paint,
Maybe you sculpt.
However you express yourself,
It's easy,
It's joyful.
And then flowing up into the higher centers,
The sixth and seventh chakra and beyond.
Imagine this beautiful freedom to just listen to the music of the galaxies,
To hear intuition,
Even as we're thinking this,
To relax your forehead,
Relax the skin on your scalp.
Just release any tension of thinking and having to do.
Every breath releasing all the muscles in the head,
The skin,
The attachments.
Because we don't have to think so hard.
We just have to ask for guidance.
And just enjoy the adventure.
Imagine this freedom,
Even if you don't feel it a lot right now.
Imagine it.
Imagine it.
Then with your breath as you inhale,
Feel the inhale flowing from the earth up through each of these whirling galaxies,
Up through all these centers.
And exhaling out the crown,
Out into the universe,
Down into the earth.
Let's just take a couple breaths here.
Inhaling,
Feeling every chakra,
Whirling and animated as the breath goes through it.
And just relaxing your breath,
Relaxing your breathing,
Staying with your eyes closed.
Seeing what comes when you hear this.
Let your attention glide through the centers of awareness along the spine with adoring intent.
There is a song to each area of the body,
Resonating in sweet vortices,
Long rhythmic vowels and hums.
Ah,
And E,
Om,
Hum,
Resounding on and on.
Find the harmonies emanating from the circulation of life energies.
Listen to these sounds,
Then more subtly as an underlying hum,
And eventually as most subtle feeling,
Then diving more deeply,
Dissolve into freedom.
I'm going to read it one more time.
Let your attention glide through the centers of awareness along the spine with adoring intent.
There is a song to each area of the body,
Resonating in sweet vortices,
Long rhythmic vowels and hums.
Ah,
And E,
Om,
Hum,
Resounding on and on.
Find the harmonies emanating from the circulation of life energies.
Listen to these sounds,
Then more subtly as an underlying hum,
And eventually as most subtle feeling,
Then diving more deeply,
Dissolve into freedom.
I'd love to know what you're feeling right now,
Or what thoughts are in your mind.
Possibility.
Connection.
Expansion.
Moksha.
Sounds are vibrations,
And we can tune ourselves into them.
It's interesting to allow ourselves to let the sounds rise that are inside of us.
Like oftentimes when I am struggling emotionally,
I want to make sound.
I'll actually groan.
I'll go,
Ahhhh,
Like I'll actually make sound.
And it's not a specific mantra.
It's whatever the sound is that my body is making right now.
To really allow ourselves to be much wiser than we think.
To hold on to that,
Mmm.
Even that is a beautiful meditation that helps to relieve anger,
You know,
To mmm.
You'd be surprised if we just allow ourselves to express what's inside of us,
All the medicine will come out.
Even just the sounds that are in us right now.
Even imagine allowing yourself to hum.
And not like necessarily hum a song.
You can if you want,
Obviously.
But imagine you just,
Mmm.
Ahhhh.
And you just,
There's no right thing.
You know,
And what if as you make these sounds,
You're actually weaving the perfect mantra,
Sound,
Healing wave that is unique for your being right now,
In this moment.
A little bit of the third chakra,
A little bit of the fifth,
A little bit of the first,
And that's the perfect medicine for you today.
And we don't need to know what sound is identified with the first chakra.
That's not it.
Every sound can be made out of this mouth.
We just need to listen and just open our mouths and go,
Ahhhh.
And all of a sudden,
Something will just feel good.
Almost like a child might do it.
They'll be like,
Ahhhh,
La,
La,
La,
La,
Ba,
Ba,
Ba,
Ba,
Ba.
You know,
They're just making sounds.
Just to allow ourselves to make sounds.
Let the magic kind of flow out of us.
Thank you guys so much.
