Welcome to a Tantric breath meditation.
Please come sitting comfortably,
Or if you can't sit,
Feel free to lie down.
To be Tantric is to fully integrate your Divine Self into your physical self.
When we do this,
We can experience infinity in every moment.
The key is that we must be right here,
Right now.
This is the only place where we can experience infinity.
If our thoughts are going forward or backward,
We are limited.
If our mind wants us or our circumstances to be different than what is,
Then we aren't here at all.
The word Satya means truth.
It is who you are right now.
It is how you are right now.
It is the core within you of who you actually are.
In our modern lives,
We are often taught to constantly be improving and disciplining ourselves to be different than who we are.
This is very limiting.
It puts a box around us,
Limiting our access to infinity.
We often wish our lives were different than they are right now.
This also limits what's possible in this moment.
Instead,
To truly experience infinity and the Divine,
We must fully embrace exactly where we are right now.
This meditation is a foundational tantric practice that you can use sitting quietly in meditation and in all moments of your day.
Let's begin.
Notice your breath.
However you are breathing right now is perfect.
The correct way to do this is to simply do exactly what your body is naturally doing.
Notice your inhale and your exhale.
Just observe them.
Just watch.
Sometimes you might breathe deeper.
Sometimes your breath might be shallow.
It's all good.
Feel the breath inhaling through your nostrils and exhaling through your nostrils.
Simply connect with your breath.
Now,
Still allowing your breath to be natural,
Start to notice the spaces in between your inhale and your exhale.
There is a space where you are neither inhaling nor exhaling.
Just notice.
And now notice the space between the end of your exhale and the beginning of your inhale.
There is a space where nothing is happening before your body inhales again.
Just continue breathing naturally,
Observing these spaces between your inhales and your exhales.
And your exhales and your inhales.
Now,
Within the space between your breaths,
Notice how your breath is moving.
Your breath changes direction.
How the body shifts from inhaling to exhaling and from exhaling to inhaling.
Just like the breath turns a corner in that stillness.
Continue breathing naturally,
Noticing your inhales,
Your exhales,
The spaces in between,
And the subtle action of the breath turning within the spaces.
Just observe these things easily,
Like you are watching waves flowing onto the shore.
Yes,
Please.
As you inhale and exhale,
You are fully engaging in this physical world.
You are delivering oxygen and prana to every cell of your body.
You are breathing in the world around you and releasing back into the world with every exhale.
Feel this physical connection.
In the spaces between the breaths,
This is our connection to oneness,
To spirit,
To God.
Feel that infinite stillness between the breaths.
Feel each inhale as a birth,
A new moment,
And then we dip into spirit.
Each exhale is like a death.
It is the end of that moment,
And then we return to oneness.
Allow yourself to be born in each moment with each breath,
And allow that moment to pass along with each exhale as you return to spirit.
Let's take a deep breath in together and exhale.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and gently gaze around you.
Henry David Thoreau once said,
To live in the present,
To launch yourself on every wave,
And to find eternity in every moment.
Namaste.
