Hello beautiful,
I'm so grateful you're here with me right now.
Close your eyes,
And take a slow breath in through your nose,
And then gently exhale.
Let your body settle,
And let this moment arrive exactly how it is.
Sometimes it shows up quietly,
A subtle feeling that something has shifted,
That person you recognize,
The one you've always known yourself to be,
Feels a little harder to find,
And the thoughts might slip in,
Almost like a whisper,
I don't feel like myself anymore,
And that can feel unsettling,
Lonely even,
Like you've lost a familiar version of you.
But today,
Wherever you are listening,
We're not here to fix that feeling,
We're here to meet it with kindness.
So breathe,
In and out,
Allowing your mind to follow the rhythm of your breath.
Every inhale expands your belly,
Every exhale releases tension.
Slower and slower,
Every breath bringing you right here.
Midlife brings so many invisible shifts,
Emotions feel closer to the surface,
Tears may come more easily,
Patience may wear thin,
And sometimes joy feels harder to reach.
What if nothing is wrong?
What if the woman you were is simply making room for the woman you are becoming?
Take another breath in,
Slow and gentle,
And as you exhale,
Imagine letting go of the pressure to be who you've always been.
You have spent so many years showing up for everyone else,
Meeting expectations,
Holding families together,
Keeping life moving forward,
And now something inside of you is asking for space.
Space to feel,
Space to soften,
Space to become someone you feel called to become.
Let yourself just rest in that possibility.
Perhaps this season isn't about losing yourself,
But about finding the parts of you that were quiet for too long.
Notice your breath again,
Steady,
Gentle.
Emotions may rise unexpectedly,
Sadness,
Irritation,
Tenderness,
But emotions are not permanent.
They come,
They go.
Some seasons are meant for unraveling old identities so that something more honest can emerge.
Place a gentle hand over your heart and feel its steady rhythm.
This woman you are now,
She is worthy of compassion.
She is worthy of patience.
She is worthy of love.
Maybe you don't feel like your old self,
And maybe that's okay,
Because the woman emerging now carries deeper wisdom,
Clearer understanding,
And a quieter kind of strength.
Let your breath soften again,
And let your body sink into support.
You are allowed to change.
You are allowed to grow.
You are allowed to become someone new.
And she,
Too,
Is worthy of love.
Namaste.
Beautiful.
