Hello and welcome.
I am so thankful that you're here right now.
It is no surprise that the holidays can be incredibly stressful,
So I really hope that today's meditation is one that you can grab any time you need it during this season.
Maybe just once,
Maybe 10 times a day,
Whatever it is you need.
I hope it really helps you calm down and find the peace within.
Let your mind drift slowly to snowflakes in the night.
Each worry they carry dissolving in the light.
Feel your breath turning to winter's gentleness as your chest rises and falls like waves that now resist.
The season brings pressure,
Lists that grow and grow,
But here in this moment,
Time moves soft and slow.
Picture a snow globe,
All shaken,
Swirling fast,
Like thoughts in your mind too hurried to last.
Now watch as the flakes begin to settle down,
Each anxious thought landing quiet without a sound.
Let peace fall around you like a blanket of snow,
Covering the chaos so your mind can let go.
Breathe in the stillness of a world wrapped in white.
Where expectations can't find you in the hush of the night.
The gifts that matter most can't be wrapped with a bow.
A present of presence is the best gift to know.
So gather the moments that sparkle and shine,
Let go of the perfect and give yourself time.
Like frost on a window,
Let your worries dissolve,
As warmth from within you helps your heart resolve.
The season is fleeting,
But peace can remain when you give yourself permission to release all that strain.
So rest in the quiet of your own gentle night.
Let all of those tasks wait for the light.
Feel the calm settle in you,
Like snow on the ground.
In this moment of stillness,
True peace can be found.
Namaste.
Beautiful.
