Good evening.

I'm so thankful you're here joining me for tonight's meditation.

If you're anything like me,

Perhaps you have had a lot of emotions and a lot of thoughts building up in you today,

And it feels like a storm inside of you sometimes.

Maybe there's lots of anger or resentment or a lot of stress and anxiety or a lot of frustration or even sadness.

Whatever that is,

All of these things can really keep us from getting a good night's rest.

So,

Tonight's meditation is here for you so you can hand them over to the night and allow your body and your mind to get the rest it needs.

Go ahead and close your eyes as we begin.

Take a moment to settle in.

Feel the weight of your body as it rests.

Allow your breath to slow,

Guiding you into the stillness.

Now,

Gently bring your attention to your heart center.

Feel its quiet rhythm,

The soft,

Steady beat that anchors you deep within your being.

Let your breath flow in,

And as you exhale,

Release any tension.

Feel it melting from your shoulders,

Sliding down your spine,

And loosening from your chest.

The storm inside may swirl,

But here in this moment,

You are safe.

You are held.

Allow the warmth of this stillness to soften the edges of your mind and to ease the racing thoughts,

Gently quieting them as if a soft breeze is carrying them away.

Feel the calm settle deeper now,

Deep within you.

A quiet glow that begins at your heart and spreads all throughout you.

Breathe in this calm.

Let it nourish you,

Soothing your mind,

Releasing your worries.

There is nothing to fix,

Nothing to figure out.

You are simply here,

In this moment,

In this gentle stillness of the night.

Let the calm flow through you,

Through your arms,

Your hands,

Your legs,

And your feet.

Every part of you is bathed in this quiet glow.

Feel the peace within you.

Feel the night cradling you.

Feel that inner storm settle as you drift deeper into sleep.

You are safe.

You are loved.

Tonight whispers to you with the promise of deep,

Nourishing sleep.

Let go,

Dear one.

Let it all go,
