Settle in,
And find your calm center.
Place your hand gently on your belly,
And release any tension or stress.
Now breathe deeply,
Slowly,
Fully.
Feel your hand rise and fall as it rests on your belly,
Living alone,
Being alone.
These can sometimes be tough,
And there are times in life when we compare ourselves to others.
We see their partner,
Their marriage,
Their friendships,
Their children,
And we feel lonely.
Take a moment and just acknowledge the loneliness.
Now follow it.
Follow the loneliness inside of you.
Where does it live?
How does it make you feel?
Allow yourself to sit with the feelings of loneliness.
Now breathe,
Breathe into the loneliness.
Visualize what it looks like,
And with each breath,
Imagine the loneliness breaking apart.
First,
Small pieces break off,
Then as you breathe,
Larger and larger pieces fall away.
And as the loneliness fades,
Imagine a single purple flower pushing up from the remnants.
A beautiful,
Resilient flower.
And now imagine yourself as the flower.
Notice there are no other flowers,
No other blossoms around you.
This magnificent purple flower that is you stands alone in all its beauty.
Now pause for just a moment and breathe in the beauty,
Resilience,
And strength of being alone.
Notice it's different from loneliness.
As you breathe,
A soft whisper comes to you,
Alone is not lonely.
And then the whisper changes,
And you repeat it,
Alone is beautiful,
I am alone,
I am beautiful,
Alone is not lonely,
Namaste,
Beautiful.
