A mantra meditation to ground yourself in the present moment, and bring you into connection with yourself. It is a short version as I thought it would be helpful when time is limited to really ground you, so you can carry on with your day from a place of awareness. Based on a mantra medition from Thich Nhat Hahn you silently repeat 'breathing in this is the perfect moment, breathing out this is the only moment. This is my favourite mantra meditation and I hope that you enjoy it.

This is my favourite mantra meditation from Tich Nhat Hanh,

So I hope that you also enjoy it.

Finding a comfortable seat.

Your eyes can be closed or open,

But if they're open have the gaze pointed downwards and with a soft focus.

Centring your attention around the breath,

So finding in the body where you can feel the inhale and the exhale.

Maybe it's the nose,

The chest,

The abdomen or the back.

And on the inhale,

Silently repeating the mantra,

Breathing in,

This is the perfect moment.

And on the exhale,

Breathing out,

This is the only moment.

Breathing in,

This is the perfect moment.

Breathing out,

This is the only moment.

Focusing the attention on the mantra and also on the sensations in the body of the breath.

Breathing in,

This is the perfect moment.

And breathing out,

This is the only moment.

Where can you feel the breath?

And breathing in,

This is the perfect moment.

Breathing out,

This is the only moment.

Truly believing these words as you say them,

Silently to yourself,

That this indeed is a perfect moment and this is absolutely the only moment that we have right now.

What better moment is there than this moment right now?

To be fully alive in the present moment is to awaken to this splendid beauty of right now.

Letting the mantra dissolve,

Keeping the attention on the breath and your quality of being.

How does it feel in your body right now?

Gently opening your eyes and thank you for sharing this meditation.

I hope you've enjoyed it.
