Welcome to this Centering Meditation on the Law of Circulation.
I'm Kate Colby Nelson and in the next few minutes I will take you on a short experience with journey,
A journey of realization,
The realization of the balance and harmony of circulation,
The divine movement of giving and receiving.
I invite you to close your eyes and make yourself completely comfortable,
Settling into the this quiet,
Perfect moment.
Begin to draw your senses inward,
Taking the journey inward to the center of your being.
Fully present to this moment,
Being fully present right here and right now.
Gently draw your awareness to your breath.
Begin to notice the rise and fall of the breath,
Noticing the inflow and the outflow.
Notice how there is expansion of the body on the inhale and a soft letting go on the exhale.
Begin to deepen the breath.
Inhale from the crown of the head all the way to the soles of the feet.
Exhale from the soles of the feet upwards to the crown of the head.
Inhaling from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet.
Exhaling from the soles of the feet upwards to the crown of the head.
Full body breathing.
Inhaling from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet.
And exhaling from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head.
Exhaling and receiving.
Exhaling and giving.
Feel the circulation of the breath.
How the inhale follows the exhale,
Which follows the inhale,
Which follows the exhale.
Exhaling the circulation of the breath.
This breath and the spiritual breath of life are one.
This is the law of perfect circulation.
This infinite and eternal giving and receiving.
As you inhale,
Drawing your breath all the way down to the soles of your feet,
Feel the soles of your feet.
And with your mind's eye,
Gaze at your feet.
See them barefoot,
Your feet on a soft forest path.
Feel the soles of your feet.
See your bare feet in the mind's eye.
Looking forward through a carpet of golden soft leaves.
Feel the coolness of the earth.
Hear the soft pad of your feet as you walk on this forest floor.
Noticing a leaf here and there,
Falling gently to the earth.
The trees giving their leaves.
Notice the earth beneath your feet,
Receiving these leaves.
How she is open in receptivity to the gentle surrender,
The givingness of each golden soft leaf.
Continue walking and noticing this giving and receiving.
The leaves around you,
Lit with golden light.
Feeling a part of this perfect circulation of life.
Taking a few more steps with your bare feet on the cool earth.
Find yourself standing at the edge of a slow moving river.
As you watch the river,
You notice its water is constantly moving towards a new destination.
And you can see that new water is passing through in every moment,
Observing the flow of water in this slow moving river.
Aware now that this water is water from far away glaciers,
From snow melt,
Precipitation.
This water is alpine lakes and desert lagoons,
All giving to this river.
Giving so that this river,
In turn,
Can give to the sea,
To return to the sky,
To return to the earth below your bare feet.
Circulation.
Spirit becoming matter,
Matter returning to spirit in perfect balance,
Harmony,
And in undulating flow.
Sitting here with your bare feet on the cool earth,
Watching the river,
Seeing the leaves around you illuminated with a soft golden light.
Inhale,
Receive.
Exhale,
Give.
Inhaling,
Receiving.
Exhaling,
Giving.
Be at one in this moment with the equanimity,
Balance,
And harmony of this amazing and ever-circulation of life.
Exhaling deeply down to the soles of your feet,
Returning the soles of your feet to the solid ground of your personal sanctuary,
Your personal space.
Filling,
Grounded yet light,
At one with the perfect flow and generosity of spirit.
We are always giving and we are always receiving.
The two are indistinguishable.
The two are always one.
Take a moment now to saturate the mind and the body with the law of perfect circulation.
Let it permeate your being like a slow-moving river,
The current strong and steady,
Undulating throughout your entire being.
The body,
The mind,
The emotions,
The psyche,
This slow and perfect river,
The divine circulation in,
Through,
And as you in harmony,
Perfect balance,
And as you,
Just as you are.
Sva-ha.
