Hello beautiful,
My name is Carly Imogen.
I invite you to join me for this short meditation,
Whether you are currently pregnant or have recently given birth to your baby.
Take this moment out of your day to connect within and drop back into your heart.
Find a comfortable position,
Any position that will serve you best right now.
Take a moment to find the centre of your body,
Whether you are sitting or laying down,
A soft shifting or gentle rocking of the body to settle into your centre,
The core of your being.
Invite your body to relax,
Consciously soften the body starting from your eyelids down into your jaw,
Neck and shoulders.
Then allow that wave of softness to float through your entire body,
Welcome it in,
Feel it ripple through you.
You deserve this moment.
Now take note of anything you may hear around you,
To the left of you,
To the right of you,
Behind you,
In front of you.
Let those things be part of your external world.
Now take note of what you hear within you.
Take note of your breath.
Can you hear how it naturally moves through you and supports you despite any external distractions?
Start to take slow conscious breaths.
Let the breath be your anchoring force now and always.
Breathe into your heart,
Open your heart,
Drop into your heart.
Just allow whatever is happening in your external world to be,
Knowing that you are held and supported here in your heart.
Now sense your baby,
Whether you are pregnant or given birth,
Wherever your baby is right now,
Sense that connection with your baby that is so deeply rooted within you.
Tune into the light within your heart and within your baby's heart.
What a special connection and bond this is.
Trust that as you nourish yourself in this moment,
It overflows to nourish your baby through this deep rooted connection.
Now come back to you,
Come back to yourself mama,
Back to your heart,
Your beautiful self as the magical woman that you are.
The breath moving in and out,
The openness of your heart.
You are so divine and worthy.
Take this moment for yourself,
Honour it.
What does it feel like to let go of the doing mindset and drop into being?
Just being right where you are in this state of relaxation and trust.
Fully trusting all that you know and all that you do and all that is unfolding around you.
Trusting.
Settle into that feeling of knowing and trusting,
That feeling when you listen to your heart.
That kind of knowing that is effortless and often unspoken,
Your natural instinct.
How does it feel to fully embody this feeling?
To move through all your decisions,
Choices and actions in full alignment with this feeling.
Breathe space and freedom into the heart.
Know that you can come back to this space within that you've created in your heart at any time.
Whenever you're ready,
Move very slowly and ease back into your day.
