Find a comfortable seat where you can escape for the next five minutes.
Not allowing anyone to disturb you as you recharge and let go.
I invite you first to close your eyes if it's comfortable and let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
And exhale slowly out through the mouth with a sigh.
Inhaling we will gather all stress and tension.
And exhaling let it all go with a sigh.
One more time inhaling gather all anger and frustration.
And exhaling really let it all go.
Then close the mouth and begin to breathe in and out through your nose as you allow your body to grow heavy,
Sinking into the support beneath you.
Accepting and welcoming that support.
Growing heavier and heavier as your breath just naturally slows down.
Give yourself permission to really hit the pause button on your day.
You deserve this little sliver of time to give yourself the gift of your total awareness.
Ask yourself can I relax just five percent more?
Melting away that deeper layer of tension that was hiding out just beneath the surface.
Now imagine what it would feel like to become more calm,
More peaceful,
And more focused right now.
Affirming that you deserve to feel better.
You deserve to move throughout your day with ease and joy.
You deserve to feel relaxed.
Remembering whenever we allow someone to anger us they have conquered us.
We can hold on to our power by maintaining our peace within.
Observe how the breath simply falls in and falls out without any effort at all.
Gently now I invite you to shift your attention back to the space around you.
Turning to the sounds around you but remaining calm and peaceful.
Observe how you feel in this moment.
We can come back to this deep calm and peace within at any point throughout our day by simply deepening our breath.
The more we practice the easier it becomes.
