Welcome to day seven it is our final practice together in this form and this practice today is all about how you're going to take this work forward and I'm going to teach you a Technique and a tool that I have been using for the last 10 years in my life Every single day including weekends and it is the one thing that I make sure that I do every day That keeps me moving forward toward my goals,
You know when so many people ask me Justin How have you accomplished?
You know all these things the book and the album and this and that in such a short time and it's such a young age I always tell them that this teaching that I'm giving you today If there was one thing that you took away this teaching will move you forward toward your dreams towards your goals Whatever it is that you have like nothing else that I know and so listen carefully,
Okay?
Now the teaching that I want to give you today is called your daily power Action and it is very simple It's almost shockingly simple so simple that people try to make it complicated But I want you to keep it simple and here's how it works Every single day every morning when you wake up You are going to stand in your future vision fulfilled You don't have to sit and do a whole long meditation for it You just either use your vision board or just quickly for 30 seconds imagine yourself in your future vision fulfilled and then you ask yourself if That vision were to have come true.
What did I do today?
That would have got me there.
Now.
I need to be very clear with you on making a distinction with how this practice works I'm not asking you to stand in the center of your life now Looking toward your future vision and where you want to go and saying what should I do?
There's a big difference in Standing in the middle of your problem and circumstances and asking what should I do to fix it?
Compared to standing in the future as if your vision has been accomplished as if your mission has been fulfilled and looking back at the now and Asking what did I do?
So the difference here is standing in the problem standing in the now looking forward saying what should I do to get there and Standing in the future as if it was done and asking what did I do?
That would have got me here I'm repeating myself because I want to get this in your mind You stand in the future as if it's done and you look back at the past Which is now and you ask what did I do on this day?
That would have gotten me closer even one little step Towards accomplishing my vision and my goal.
This sounds so simple,
But it is incredibly profound Now keep this in mind while you're doing this practice There are a few rules that are so important for you to follow when you do this to make sure that you don't make it Too complicated and that it works Number one don't make some long to-do list of things.
It is crucial that you only pick one thing all of my studies have shown that if you pick two things or three things and I know some of you overachievers will try to You risk not getting it done because you feel like I don't have time to do all these things I want you to just pick one thing and that leads me to point number two You're making a commitment to yourself every day that you will not sleep unless that one thing is done and the reason this is so important is because if You tell me that you've gone through your whole day and you couldn't do one thing and you got to pick the thing That day to go towards your dreams,
Then you know that there is some sabotage happening in your life It's a cue and so this leads me to my final point,
Which is it could be the same thing every day It could be a different thing every day.
It could be a big thing.
It could be a small thing It can be an easy thing It could be a hard thing The most important thing is that you do something and that you pick it on that day Don't even pick it the night before because I want you to wake up and feel the energy that you have that day You know some days you might feel like oh tomorrow I'm gonna do this and then you don't sleep well that night and you don't have energy So you want to pick something that you could win at that day?
That's it.
The practice is incredibly simple.
So I'm gonna walk you through a short meditation version of this practice now that you can continue to come back to and back to if you want to be guided through this Experience,
Let's begin start by finding a comfortable way to sit Soften your body just 5% more Here we are on our last day together in this way and take a deep full breath in and a deep breath out And if you feel comfortable,
I invite you to close your eyes and for this breath practice We'll do the box breath together This is four counts in four count hold four counts out and then hold it out for four counts I'll walk you through the whole thing.
Let's do it together Start by taking just a deep breath in to align us and a deep breath out and now inhale with me for one two three four hold for one two three four exhale one two three four hold it out for one two three again inhale one deeper two three four hold it out for one two three four hold it out for one two three four hold it out for one two three last time inhale one two deeper three deeper four hold for one two three four exhale one two three four hold it out for one two three Release now just breathe normally and as you rest in your breath call into your mind One last time with me here today the future version of yourself who has taken Whatever area of life you've focused on for this challenge all the way to the next level You've had practice at it now.
So really soup it up Make it feel like there was a miracle that happened and that something came true in your life that almost seemed impossible Let yourself and as you imagine this Future version of yourself who is living the life of your dreams Scan around yourself and check in with what you notice About it this time.
What do you see?
What do you sense?
What do you feel and what's happening in this vision that indicates to you that you are living the life of your dreams?
I'll be silent now for a moment as you let this vision expand and now Making this vision as real as you can.
I want you to step in to that future vision Step into that reality as if the vision is fulfilled and now look back at the you today and Ask yourself.
What did I do?
Got me closer to standing in this vision.
What did I do back then today?
That would have brought me even one step closer to the vision I see and if you have multiple things coming to you just pick one all the others could be bonus points extra credit But you pick one now to commit to and your commitment is that you will not sleep Until this one thing is done.
This is your commitment Go ahead and place your hands over the center of your chest If you've moved them take a deep breath in and a deep breath out repeat these words One more time with me.
I am ready.
I am worthy.
I am powerful I deserve this life I am ready I am worthy I Am powerful.
I deserve this life I Am ready.
I am worthy.
I am powerful I deserve this life You deserve this life go ahead and take a deep full breath in and a deep breath out and when you're ready I invite you to open your eyes You should be so proud of yourself for making it through this seven-day journey I hope you do something to celebrate yourself today And I want to give you a few tips on how you can continue to take this work Forward in a meaningful way to continue this momentum that you've built in your life So first and foremost do your daily power actions every day And yes,
I mean every day including weekends because even if you're going out to do something your one little thing could just be sending an email to somebody or looking up an article or Researching something really quick or look up a few books that you're interested in buying It could be something so simple and on those days when you have extra time and space You can make it something longer or bigger or more significant And this is how we move forward in our lives because one thing I know is that there are very few things in life That can't be accomplished in 40 to 50 to maybe a hundred little small steps and that's less than a year That's like two months three months four months you can step forward into anything in your life if you stop holding yourself back and Take action and I hope this program has inspired you to do it now I have a few different ways that you can continue on this journey with me And first of all,
