Welcome.
Today I'm guiding you through a gentle reset.
A moment to recalibrate after being social,
Stimulated or simply on for too long.
This is your permission to come back to yourself.
Find a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through the nose and a long unhurried breath out through the mouth.
Again inhale deeply and exhale letting the shoulders drop,
The jaw soften and feel your sit bones rooting down into the support of the earth beneath you.
There's nothing you need to do right now,
Nothing to perform,
Fix or respond to.
Allow your nervous system to begin to settle.
We'll move into a gentle balancing breath,
Equal inhale and equal exhale to help regulate your energy and invite some softness back in.
Begin inhale deeply through the nose and exhale sigh out of the mouth.
Now inhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One and exhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for five,
Exhale five,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Exhale and let it go.
Continue breathing naturally.
Feel the wave of your breath moving through you,
Smoothing the edges,
Quieting the noise and bringing you back into your body.
Now imagine a soft luminous cocoon forming gently around you.
Like a social butterfly returning inward,
Folding its wings,
Resting inside its own safe space.
This cocoon is light,
Warm and protective.
It's yours.
It allows love in but gently filters out to overwhelm expectations and external noise.
Breathe into this space,
Your boundary,
Your reset.
Feel yourself fully inside of it.
Nothing pulling at you,
Nothing asking anything of you.
Here you are enough by simply being.
Silently repeat to yourself,
I return to myself.
My energy is mine.
I am calm,
Centered and whole.
Let the body soften even more.
Let your presence drop from the mind into the heart,
From the heart into the belly and from the belly into the ground beneath you.
Stay here for a few more breaths,
Resting in the safe space that you've curated.
Gently bringing your attention back to the breath and your body and taking a final breath in through the nose and release it gently through the mouth.
Begin to bring small movements back,
The stretch,
The roll of the shoulders,
Re-wiggling your fingers and carry this sense of clarity and self-connection with you as you move back into your day.
You've returned to your center,
Grounded,
Clear and at home with yourself.
