Do you have a monkey mind and struggle with meditating? Can you tap into your intuition – ON DEMAND? Singing and chanting help to regulate the hypothalamus of the brain which is the control centre of emotions and activates your parasympathetic nervous system inducing calm and switching off the fight or flight response. It also suppresses the activity of the amygdala which controls fear and anxiety. A powerful meditation to deepen your intuition and connect you to your higher guidance.

Let's begin.

Either sit or lie down,

Get comfortable and gently close your eyes.

Where the mind goes,

The body follows.

When we think fearful thoughts,

The brain automatically triggers the fight or flight response,

Producing adrenaline,

Cortisol and other defence mechanisms in the body.

This creates an experience of stress which affects our mood,

State of mind,

Clarity of thought,

Energy levels and health.

One of the number one triggers for stress is when we believe we are letting someone else down.

This can create an emotional rollercoaster where we make decisions that are not always for our own highest good.

If we don't learn to listen to our bodies and honour what is best for ourselves,

We create disharmony,

Disconnection and stress.

Having a peaceful state of mind has a positive ripple effect in every area of our lives.

Every experience presents an opportunity to learn and grow.

Our choices are either based in fear or love.

Looking within helps us to recognise fears and limiting beliefs and will reveal the solution to many problems.

Practising patience and embracing stillness sets the stage to hear the wisdom of our hearts,

Which is always deeply grounded in love.

When an issue becomes lighter,

We know we have struck the truth at the heart of the matter.

Be grateful for the experience,

Garner the wisdom and then let it go.

This cultivates compassion,

Ease and grace.

Aum,

La La La We each are divinely connected and the space where we can meet our divinity and truth is within the heart.

Singing connects us to our heart,

Our breath and our body.

It is a felt sense experience and brings us into a state of heart presence.

It massages the vagus nerve,

Which is like ground control for the parasympathetic nervous system,

Which induces calm.

Studies have shown that chanting lowers blood pressure,

Alleviates depression and reduces stress,

Invoking a peaceful state of mind.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that chanting the mantra prayer Om Mani Padme Hum out loud or silently to oneself invokes the embodiment of compassion.

Buddha discovered that suffering is unnecessary and looking within can unveil the causes and beliefs of such suffering.

The most powerful method to change the conditions of suffering is the practice of compassion and most importantly,

Towards oneself.

Let's set the stage for your life to have more awareness,

Peace and compassion by creating new neural pathways,

Reframing with positive thought patterns and connecting you to your inner wisdom.

And now place your hands over your heart area.

Breathe in deeply and hold.

Slowly exhale,

Allowing the body to relax and soften.

Inhale.

Hold at the top.

Relax on the exhale.

Again,

Inhale.

Hold.

Slowly,

Slowly release.

Begin to observe the mental traffic slowing down with each breath.

Follow your breath down into your heart space.

With your awareness,

Notice what you are feeling.

Is your heart aching with sadness?

Or yearning for love?

Is it overflowing with joy?

Or does it feel empty and numb?

Or is there a silent rage simmering that you just can't seem to get rid of?

Welcome them all.

Breathe deeply into your feelings.

Accept whatever energy is flowing through you in this moment.

Allow it the space to express.

And ask this energy,

What message do you have for me?

Be still.

And listen.

Feel.

Listen.

Feel.

Listen.

Begin to notice the transmission of love,

Peace and compassion in your stillness.

Feel your body soften as tension melts away.

Ride the wave of self-awareness and self-love to reach the brilliant shores of your truth,

Your essence.

You are the master of your domain and the kingdom of heaven is within you and love opens the door.

Step through this doorway and allow your inner world to take care of any situation.

Let the wisdom of your heart find the solutions to lighten your world,

Bringing inner peace and happiness.

Now you can remain in stillness and receive the love from the music or I encourage you to sit up nice and straight and join me chanting together,

Om Mani Padme Hum.

And its English translation,

Jewel in the Lotus,

To ignite compassion and enter into a more blissful and awakened state of mind.

Remaining very still with your eyes closed,

Take a long,

Deep,

Conscious breath in,

And all that does not serve you releases on the out-breath.

Become aware of how peace and light pervades your heart.

Every breath moves through every cell,

Dancing with forgiveness and gratitude.

You easily hear the wisdom of your heart.

Compassion and self-love is the jewel in your lotus.
