This practice is a practice we're going to explore,
Inviting in a healing light to release tension or tightness from the body and the mind.
And then we'll welcome in a healing energy from the earth,
Creating a new earth from the inside out.
So coming to a place where you feel comfortable and supported and feel where your body is making contact with the surface beneath it.
And lengthening your spine from your sit bones all the way up to your shoulders.
Slightly tucking in the chin and drawing the crown of the head up towards the sky.
Palms can be folded in your lap with the back of the right hand resting in the left palm.
Rolling the shoulders up and back and settling in.
In your mind's eye imagine a white lotus flower sitting right on top of the crown of the head.
Noticing the white purity of each petal.
And then allow that awareness as you draw in the white light from the lotus flower.
It's allowing that awareness to travel down over your eyes and your brow.
Feeling that white pure light dissolving any tension that is wanting to be released from the eyes and the brow.
Allowing that attention to travel down towards the ears and the jaw.
Slowly separating the back teeth and creating some ease in the jaw.
Feeling that white light bathe down towards the shoulders.
It might feel nourishing to bring the shoulders up to the ears and round them back.
Releasing any tension in the shoulders.
Gently turn the gaze over the right shoulder and then looking towards the left.
Releasing any tension or tightness in the area around the neck.
Bringing your attention to the shoulders and allow it to travel down the arms.
The arms all the way down to the palms of your hands.
Imagining that white light just resting in the palm of your hand.
Giving thanks to this pure healing light.
Drawing your attention up towards the collar bones and moving down the whole torso.
Feeling this white healing light softening the chest.
Moving down towards the ribs and as you breathe in feeling that gentle expansion of the ribs.
And then as you exhale feeling the ribs drawing back and this smooth healing light traveling down the torso to the belly.
Seeing if you can notice the breath in the lower belly.
Feeling the white healing light soften any tension in the lower belly.
Traveling down towards the hips and the thighs.
Feeling the hips and the thighs bathed by this white healing energy.
Traveling down the legs all the way down to the soles of the feet.
Feeling the energy of this white lotus flower,
This purity,
This cleansing energy from the crown of the head all the way down to the soles of the feet.
Returning to where you're feeling contact with the earth beneath you.
And welcoming in the earth into the body.
Starting at the sit bones and the thighs.
Lower belly.
Imagining soil.
Warm nourishing soil.
And from that soil imagine a field of red flowers.
Seeing the flowers gently being swayed in the gentle breeze.
And as the flowers are opening up towards the sun,
The little dew drops on each flower as they gently awake from a dormant sleep.
And traveling up from the belly towards the ribs,
Widening your lens and now noticing the sun,
The warm healing sun casting light on this field of red flowers.
Also the warmth of the morning sun as the sun just begins to rise.
And as we widen the lens and travel up further in the body,
Noticing off in the distance there's a tree in the field,
A strong trunk stability and strength and then lush branches and leaves.
Seeing shade and shelter to the field of flowers and creatures beneath.
And as we widen the lens and take in more of the image,
Traveling up the body to the throat area,
Seeing this beautiful blue clear sky.
Maybe you even notice the sensations of the cool breath gently touching the back of the throat and feeling the freshness of this new day.
And as you widen the lens and travel up to the crown of the head,
Noticing this whole image is held within this purple aura.
And as you imagine the new earth on the outside,
It's also a new earth within your own body and mind.
Breathing in gratitude for the earth beneath you and the skies above.
Knowing that you can return back to this new earth anytime that you need healing,
Rest and remembering.
I invite you now to allow the image of the new earth to dissolve.
Return back to where you feel contact with the surface beneath you.
If the eyes have been closed,
Gently start to open the eyes.
Seeing a moment and checking in and noticing the effects,
The imprints of this short practice.
