Baseball breathing is relatively simple, requires three steps, and takes only 10 seconds. Inhale slowly through your nose for 3 seconds while you imagine you're winding up for a pitch. Hold your breath for 2 seconds while you focus on the imaginary catcher. Slowly exhale through your mouth for 5 seconds while you throw the ball over home plate. It's a strike!

Hello,

I'm Jocelyn Fitzgerald and for today's quick and easy breathing exercise with kids,

We're going to do a baseball breathing exercise.

This exercise is one where I want you to imagine yourself as a baseball pitcher.

You're pulling up your arm,

Getting ready to throw the pitch into home plate.

What I want you to do is when you bring your arm up with the ball,

You're going to breathe in and then imagine as you release the ball with all your strength,

You're letting all the air out of your lungs.

So breathe in,

You wind up for the pitch,

And then breathe out.

You throw the ball as quick as you can into home plate and it's a strike.

Alright,

Practice this five to ten times a day when you're feeling stressed.

It's a great way to use your imagination and relieve any stress you're having in your body.

Thanks so much.
