Sometimes it isn't always easy to have a positive relationship with food; the way we think about it, the amount we eat, the times that we eat, feeling guilty about what we eat, and so on. However, food is a beautiful gift for us to enjoy, savor and appreciate! When we begin to be mindful of what and when we eat, when we begin to feel gratitude for all things, including food, our relationship with food can be positive, nourishing and pleasant! We all deserve to enjoy the food we eat, and feel good about our choices. Join me in these affirmations, and begin to appreciate your relationship with food!

I invite you to settle into your space,

Get into a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down.

Take a few moments to become mindful of your breathing.

Notice your face and unclench and soften any areas that may feel tight or tense.

Allow your body to sink and settle deeper.

And just breathe easily and naturally.

As you listen to these affirmations,

Feel free to either repeat them or simply just listen.

I enjoy eating foods that nourish me.

I take my time while eating my food.

I am mindful of the food that I put into my body.

I deserve to enjoy my food.

I have a healthy relationship with food.

I stop eating when I am full.

I am at peace with food.

I am at peace with my body.

My weight does not define me or my worth.

I can be healthy and happy at any size.

I am comfortable in my body.

I enjoy taking care of myself.

I know that I am worthy of being healthy and happy.

I love every part of my body.

I listen to my body and trust what it knows to eat.

I eat when I want and eat foods that are pleasurable to me.

I welcome health into my life.

Self-love flows through me with ease.

I appreciate all that my body can do.
